Emunah versus Faith
“Faith” is another meaningless Bible word, in this case with Pagan connotations. The Hebrew word translated “Faith” is “Emunah” which is effectively “faith on steroids” a much more powerful concept than Faith. “Faith”, as with all these other wrong words, should be avoided.
Quoting from Google with amendments:
In Hebrew, emunah (אֱמוּנָה) means faith, faithfulness, trust, steadfastness, truth, or fidelity.
More than just a mental belief, emunah emphasizes a moral attribute and a demonstrated trust, or commitment, that arises from proven reliability and action. It is connected to the root of words like amen (so be it) and emet (truth).
Key Aspects of Emunah
Beyond Mere Belief
Unlike English usage {faith}, emunah is not just cognitive assent but a deeper, stable conviction demonstrated through action.
Proven Reliability
It signifies trust built upon something that has shown itself to be reliable, like Yah's character or a person's proven actions.
Moral Attribute
Emunah is viewed as a moral quality, akin to loyalty in a marriage or the steadfastness of a covenant.
Rooted in Action
To have emunah is to act in accordance with one's belief and trust, showing a loyalty that goes beyond just words or thoughts.
Conclusion
All these errors operate collectively through false Bible translations to confuse and corrupt understanding of the matters of Yah and all these terms should be strictly avoided.
