This is probably the most challenging and most important message I have ever written.  I am still grappling with what I believe I have been shown but it seems timeous to share this now.  Please read prayerfully and feel free to give me feedback whether positive or negative.

1. Preamble – modern day anointed believers who fall away

During the past 29 plus years, since I committee deeply to serving Father, I have constantly observed how committed Anointed Believers fall out, disagree, do and say different and contradictory things supposedly on behalf of the Creator, etcetera.  Father has also on a number of occasions spoken to me clearly about highly Anointed men and women of Yah in this generation who have fallen into deep error and apostacy despite massive working of signs and wonders through their ministries.

 

I have repeatedly puzzled over this and asked about it but never received a clear answer, that is, until the events of recent months have elucidated the situation as set out below.

 

So, IF you have wondered why True Believers fight with one another, launch competing assemblies and broadcast conflicting messages, THIS message has as much of the answer as I have been able to discern so far.

 

A few examples:

 

1. Mighty tent ministry healing thousands in the 1940’s through 60’s died an Alcoholic.

 

2. Woman with mighty healing ministry touching thousands in the 1940’s through 60’s – started ministry as a single woman, married abusive husband, complete error, divorced, returned to ministry, died early.

 

3. Man, large number of major visions, caught up to Heaven, best selling books about the visions, eventually fell away into major error.

 

4. Man, powerful worship ministry, eventually fell away into major error.

 

In all cases strong evidence they were walking closely with Yah at one stage and yet in the end they fell away.Note that early death of a mature Believer is a clear sign of major sin and error such that if they do not die at that point they will be rejected.

 

2. Preamble – my experience and conclusions

After Yah spoke to me audibly and I turned my life to seeking Him on 12^th March 1993 I started attending a Bible Believing Charismatic Christian church near where I lived.I immersed myself in their teachings and because what they said seemed to make sense, I took on board pretty much everything that they said.Yah sent me to the man who took me to the church and therefore I assumed that they had all truth.I was mistaken as I subsequently learned.

 

In particular they stated that the Bible was the “living Word of God and without error”, I committed to Yah by holding up my new Bible and praying “Father, these people say this is Your Word, I do NOT understand it but I chose to believe and I ask you to answer all my questions”.For eight years I walked in this belief until in 2001 following a series of fasts seeking truth Father clearly showed me and told me that the Bible was just a book and was only about 2.5% inspired and contained errors.

 

Once I took this revelation on-board it took me the best part of the next decade to come to terms with this revelation and understand what it meant.I wrote extensively on the subject, see https://www.eti-ministries.org/essence-of-message-regarding-bible  In particular, I came to understand that once one ceases to put the Bible on a pedestal and make an idol of it that there is MUCH more to understanding Yah than can be drawn from the Bible.  As a consequences of the revelations that I started to receive in late 2000 onwards I have written a huge number of articles and created a huge number of web pages till today the website contains in excess of 2,400 articles and over 1,000 web pages, much of it direct revelation see https://www.eti-ministries.org/compilation-of-most-writings for pdf versions of most writings up to May 2019.

 

Throughout much of this process I have prayed “Father guide me by your Spirit, every second of every day in every possible way” and I have believed that I WAS being so led.I have gone forward confidently in business, in relationships and in ministry on this basis.

 

Then, just over two years ago I made a really bad business decision which cost me a substantial sum of money.When I realized I had made a mistake I immediately assumed that Yah was at fault and became angry with Him.Once I had calmed down I was able to hear Him say “you never asked me what to do” and “James,  you are NOT a Glove Puppet, you have to make your own decisions!”

 

This was NOT the first time Father had told me that I was NOT a Glove Puppet, I had written about it in January 2018 see https://www.eti-ministries.org/articles/article-view-page/articleid/757/2018-01-01-we-are-not-glove-puppets and I am fairly sure He had said this to me years earlier.  But, for some reason, I did NOT fully internalize this.

I course corrected in the context of that situation, launched a battle to get my money back and eventually succeeded.

 

I continued to process this message and to learn from it and on 21 May 2022 I added a correction to the Prayer page regarding this see https://www.eti-ministries.org/prayer  In May 2022 I published an article https://www.eti-ministries.org/myth-of-led-by-yah-every-second-of-every-day

 

Concurrently with this I continued to process.In early 2022, battling with financial lack I finally recognized that I had lifetime covenants with three women (wives) who were NOT living with me and who were therefore unable to come into harmony with me.As I grappled with this I eventually realized that there was NO way that Father would have told me to covenant with any of these women – He informed me that in this age it is NOT possible for a woman who is NOT living with her man to come into sufficient harmony to prosper, see https://www.eti-ministries.org/essence-of-message-re-poverty-of-believers and https://www.eti-ministries.org/essence-of-message-overcoming-lack-of-believers

 

In the months that followed one woman broke covenant with me on another issue and I was granted a divorce, her finances improved rapidly.Another woman divorced me because I was NOT complying with the default covenant terms to provide for her, see https://www.eti-ministries.org/essence-of-message-re-virgins-covenant  The third woman refused to divorce me and chose to remain in lack because of her love for me.  My finances improved significantly but within contractual constraints.

 

As I grappled with these developments and the realization that there was NO way that Father led me to marry any of these women I started to realize that my life with Father was characterized by any number of comparable mistakes on my part while believing I was being led by Father in every possible way.

 

The more I thought about it and prayed about it the more I realized that I had madehuge mistakes from the very start of my journey with Father starting in March 1993.

 

A few examples:

 

1. Business in 1993

Within a few months of coming back to Father, convinced by the teachings of my church that if I paid them tithes Father would bless me abundantly, I entered into partnership with three other men believing Father was leading me.  The company launched a few months before the elections in South Africa accompanying regime change and the economy shut down.  I lost a huge sum of money keeping the business afloat and a few years later we went bankrupt.

 

I recently realized that seeing as how two of the men were unbelievers, one viciously so and one was at best a nominal Believer there was NO way Father would have led me into partnership with them – entirely my mistake.

 

2. Divorcing my Second Wife

In 1996, struggling with an abusive marriage I prayed for release and asked for signs.Father led me to an anointed Prophetess who prayed for me and saw in vision that my wife was stabbing me in the back and tripping me up constantly.I prayed for divorce and a new wife and asked repeatedly for signs so that I would NOT make a mistake in who I married.After dramatic signs I entered into life time covenant with a fantastic woman who became a devoted wife.Before we covenanted, knowing that I believed that it was permissible before Yah to marry more than one woman, she made it clear to me that she would never share me with another woman.I subsequently got it into my head that Yah wanted me tohave seven wives.Eventually, in desperation, she divorced me and I embarked on a journey with seven women who nearly destroyed me and who Father eventually released me from.I recently realized that in terms of Yah’s commitment to Covenant that there was NO way that He would have asked me to break covenant with my wife to marry additional women.Again, my wrong thinking believing I was being led.

 

3. Immigration

In 2013, having secured British citizenship by inheritance I immigrated to the United Kingdom based on very little research and very little planning, believing it was Father’s will.Having arrived with no business lined up I then proceeded to try email marketing without success and at the same time devoted a lot of time to ministry believing that “if I look after Father’s interests He will look after mine” – false belief, did NOT happen.Eventually, having been self-employed for the best part of twenty five years with aspirations of dramatic revenue I was forced to take employment thereby greatly limiting my potential to generate the revenue I aspired to in order to finance my ministry.I recently concluded that it was NOT Father’s will for me to immigrate!

 

4. Etcetera, etcetera, etcetera

In the last six months as I have grappled with this revelation I have increasingly come to understand that, while in terms of my direct relationship with Father Yah I was obtaining dramatic revelation and was really close to Him, in the context of Relationships, Commerce and Ministry I have constantly made bad decisions resulting in a situation where, today, I have massive debts, am locked into a job that gives me no hope of having the substantial revenue for the ministry that I desire and I am locked into a long distance marriage with almost no hope that we will ever be together even for a short while let alone live together.

 

As I have sought to understand Father has made it clear that in NONE of these negative situations did I actively seek guidance, direction and confirmation from Him in the way that I did with marrying my second wife.I have just blundered along believing I was being led in everything and therefore that there was NO need for me to ask.

 

Father has also made it clear to me that in 2010 He gave me clear signs that it was His will for me to marry a highly anointed woman servant of His whom I had met online yet for NO reason (I cannot explain fully to this day why I did it), I walked away.He has said to me “James, what is the point of giving you clear direction when you do NOT comply?”A shocking statement!

 

3. Why it is like this?

In the articles on NOT a Glove Puppet I have pointed out that Yah created us as intelligent, sentient beings to be His Friends, He has said "I created Human beings, this planet and this universe for men and women to be my Friends, my companions, to explore and learn and develop together, my greatest grief is that almost NO person understands this let alone seeks such a relationship with me!“

 

Inherent in this statement and this design objective is that Father Yah is NOT going to live our lives for us and through us.  WE have to exercise our discretion.  We have the option to come to Him for clear guidance BUT we must then act on that guidance, seek confirmation and recognize that He is NOT going to “magic” things into existence for us – WE have to do the hard yards, apply our minds and our intellect and MAKE IT HAPPEN!

 

All sorts of stories about miraculous happenings that support another interpretation are at best suspect and more a function of coincidence than leading by Yah or, in the extreme even, an outworking of the Satanic and Demonic Realm conspiring to lead committed Believers into major error and financial or relationship bondage!

 

To summarize, YAH WANTS PARTNERS WHO APPLY THEIR INTELLECT NOT GLOVE PUPPETS!

 

4. Examples from the Bible

Having set out my personal experience in some detail I would like to show that this is an extremely common experience, starting with examples from the Bible.

 

1. Noah and the curse of Canaan

Firstly, consider Noah, extremely close to Yah, called down the Flood that destroyed the Earth, built his ship {Ark}, loaded it with Animals, provisions, equipment, knowledge resources, etcetera and survived a dramatic event.

 

Yet, after all this we read of Noah drunk and naked in his tent so that his nakedness is exposed and then he turns around, while he is in error, and curses his grandson, Canaan.A curse that has had huge impacts on the African people to this day.See Genesis 9:20 to 27 in the Bible:

“20 And Noah began to farm and cultivate the ground and he planted a vineyard. 21 He drank some of the wine and became drunk, and he was uncovered and lay exposed inside his tent. 22 Ham, the father of Canaan, saw [by accident] the nakedness of his father, and [to his father’s shame] told his two brothers outside. 23 So Shem and Japheth took a robe and put it on both their shoulders, and walked backwards and covered the nakedness of their father; their faces were turned away so that they did not see their father’s nakedness. 24 When Noah awoke from his wine [induced stupor], he knew what his younger son [Ham] had done to him. 25 So he said,
 

“Cursed be Canaan [the son of Ham]; A servant of servants He shall be to his brothers.” 26 He also said, “Blessed be Yah the Eternally Self-Existing {the LORD}, The Mighty One {God} of Shem; And let Canaan be his servant. 27 “May the Almighty {God} enlarge [the land of] Japheth, And let him dwell in the tents of Shem; And let Canaan be his servant.”

 

Today this is known as “Systemic Racism” in the USA and elsewhere relating to people of African descent.Note that the curse CAN be cut off, see the articles on Prayer referred to above.

 

So we see a highly Anointed man with a deep personal relationship with Yah acting badly and taking action that has negatively impacted every generation since then.

 

2. Abram and Hagar

Yah spoke to Abram through His Messenger {Angel} and promised him a son in his old age through his wife Sarai (see Genesis 15).We read in James 2:23 that Abram was Yah’s Friend.Yet in Genesis 16 we read:

“1 Now Sarai, Abram’s wife, had not borne him any children, and she had an Egyptian maid whose name was Hagar. 2 So Sarai said to Abram, “See here, Yah the Eternally Self-Existing has prevented me from bearing children. I am asking you to go in to my maid [so that she may bear you a child]; perhaps I will obtain children by her.” And Abram listened to Sarai and did as she said. 3 After Abram had lived in the land of Canaan ten years, Abram’s wife Sarai took Hagar the Egyptian [maid], and gave her to her husband Abram to be his [secondary] wife. 4 He went in to Hagar, and she conceived; and when she realized that she had conceived, she looked with contempt on her mistress [regarding Sarai as insignificant because of her infertility]. 5 Then Sarai said to Abram, “May [the responsibility for] the wrong done to me [by the arrogant behavior of Hagar] be upon you. I gave my maid into your arms, and when she realized that she had conceived, I was despised and looked on with disrespect. May Yah the Eternally Self-Existing judge [who has done right] between you and me.” 6 But Abram said to Sarai, “Look, your maid is entirely in your hands and subject to your authority; do as you please with her.” So Sarai treated her harshly and humiliated her, and Hagar fled from her.”

From this we see the ongoing conflict between Islam, established through Ishmael the son of Hagar, and Christianity and Judaism, established through Isaac, the son of Sarai.Again, the error of a highly anointed man and woman in close relationship with Yah having dramatic impact for thousands of years.

 

3. Moshe {Moses} and striking the rock

Moshe had a deep and powerful relationship with Yah, as strong and powerful as any other servant of Yah if not greater.Yet, in Numbers 20 we see Moshe disobey Yah and be punished by being denied entry to the Promised Land.

​“6 Then Moshe and Aaron went from the presence of the assembly to the doorway of the Tent of Meeting (tabernacle) and fell on their faces [before Yah the Eternally Self-Existing in prayer]. Then the glory and brilliance of Yah the Eternally Self-Existing appeared to them; 7 and Yah the Eternally Self-Existing spoke to Moshe, saying, 8 “Take the rod; and you and your brother Aaron assemble the congregation and speak to the rock in front of them, so that it will pour out its water. In this way you shall bring water for them out of the rock and let the congregation and their livestock drink [fresh water].”  9 So Moses took the rod from before Yah the Eternally Self-Existing, just as He had commanded him; 10 and Moshe and Aaron gathered the assembly before the rock. Moses said to them, “Listen now, you rebels; must we bring you water out of this rock?” 11 Then Moshe raised his hand [in anger] and with his rod he struck the rock twice [instead of speaking to the rock as Yah the Eternally Self-Existing had commanded]. And the water poured out abundantly, and the congregation and their livestock drank [fresh water]. 12 But Yah the Eternally Self-Existing said to Moses and Aaron, “Because you have not believed (trusted) Me, to treat Me as Set-Apart {holy} in the sight of the sons of Israel, you therefore shall not bring this assembly into the land which I have given them.”

So we see a man who walked powerfully with Yah longer than any other man who has ever lived losing his temper and disobeying Yah.Sobering!

 

4. Dawid {David} and Bathsheba

Then there is King Dawid of whom we are told in 1 Samuel 13:14 was “a man after Yah’s own heart” yet in 2 Samuel 11:2 to 27 we read that Dawid, instead of going to war with his soldiers remained at home, observed Bathsheba the wife of Uriah the Hittite bathing, summoned her, impregnated her and then had her husband murdered.So adultery and murder by a highly Anointed Servant.This in turn led to a major insurrection and war with Dawid’s son Absalom.

 

Massive damage to the kingdom of Israel by her Anointed King!

 

5. Yahoodah from Kerioth {Judas Iscariot) and Yahooshua {Jesus}

In Mark 14 and the other Gospels we read how Yahoodah from Kerioth, one of twelve men closest to Yahooshua, went to the Chief Priests and betrayed Yahooshua.Subsequently he repented and committed suicide.

 

Another case of a highly Anointed one falling into serious sin and error.

 

6. Shaul {Paul} and Jerusalem

In Acts 20 we read of Shaul, having travelled extensively sharing the Good News {Gospel} relating to Yahooshua, is repeatedly warned by Yah of imprisonment if he goes to Jerusalem yet insists on going and becomes a prisoner, massively limiting his ability to minister for the rest of his life.

 

Another case of a highly Anointed one following his own leading into error and disobedience to Yah.

 

7. Summing Up re the Bible

The Bible is FULL of examples of Anointed men who made mistakes, got into error and sin.Further examples include Solomon, Samson, etcetera.Thus the principle that I am addressing in this article is substantiated by these examples!

 

5. Modern day Ministries and Denominations

Modern day Ministries and Denominations are flooded with examples of men and women who get into error and fall away creating one Denomination after another following their teachings instead of seeking a DEEP Personal Relationship with the Creator.

 

These are all examples of the principle that I am addressing in this article – one can have a DEEP relationship with the Almighty and STILL get into serious error.

 

The reason that all these competing Ministries and Denominations exist is that they have some level of verified deep revelation yet in other areas they are in total error.So we see that people believe that because of some specific experiences with Yah they ASSUME that they are being led totally and do NOT critically examine their beliefs and their actions as opposed to actively seeking confirmation, signs, fasting, etcetera to ensure that what they are doing IS aligned with Yah.

 

6. Relationships

In my own life this principle has applied to a number of relationships with women where I have ASSUMED I was being led by Father and entered into sexual life time covenant relationships without checking.It is a widespread problem.

 

Note in particular that a woman Believer needs to be particularly careful about who she marries because there are so few true male Believers available to marry see https://www.eti-ministries.org/single-women-believers-7-x-men

 

In the same vein, male Believers have a tendence to marry women who are not strong Believers or not Believers at all.This is NOT from Yah!

 

Given that Divorce is NOT easily granted it is VITAL to ensure that one is being guided by Father with regard to a life partner or, in the case of a man, more than one life partner.

 

Deep engagement with Father and repeatedly requesting signs and confirmations is called for.

 

7. Commerce / Job

Again, in my own life I have made a number of really bad mistakes with regard to business partnerships, career direction, etcetera.Again, because I ASSUMED I was being led.

 

If you are considering a business partnership with an Unbeliever this is NOT from Yah!

 

Again, deep engagement with Father and repeatedly requesting signs and confirmations is called for.

 

8. Ministry

In the preceding sections I have made reference to people who have gone into dramatic and powerful full-time ministry and yet ended up in error and in some cases dying early.There are reports of others who burned out.

 

In 2019 I decided to publish physical books containing most of what I had written and broadcast up to that date.I did this and borrowed a substantial sum of money to print and distribute the books leaving myself with major debts that I am struggling to repay such that I have NO money for retirement at the age of 68!Father subsequently pointed out to me that IF I died without repaying all my debts I would be a thief!So, I published the books with deep belief I was being led but was NOT.

 

The fact one has a strong Anointing and is healing, speaking on behalf of the Almighty, getting revelation, etcetera does NOT mean one is fully aligned with the Almighty and in His will on ALL things.

 

It is possible to move powerfully in the gifts of the Spirit and STILL lean to one’s own understanding and error.The ONLY solution is deep engagement with Father and repeatedly requesting signs and confirmations with regard to ALL significant decisions and actions.

 

9. Revelation / Doctrine
10. in the above is the reality that it is possible to have DEEP REVELATION and STILL make serious mistakes in the areas of Relationship, Commerce and Ministry as well as in the field of Revelation.

 

If this were NOT so the world would be full of Believers all of whom were closely aligned with one another and with Yah and who were prospering in business, with powerful ministries and thriving families.The fact that this is NOT the case confirms my point.

 

10. NOT SIN!

It is vital to understand that MOST of the error I have referred to is NOT sin, it is simply error that is NOT in line with Yah’s best will for the life of the person in question.This can, in time, lead to increasing deception and error and ultimately to sin.

 

11. Satanic and / or Demonic Inspiration

As I have grappled to understand the above I have understood that, for the most part, these errors are simply a matter of the mistakes of the person concerned and are NOT the result of Satanic and / or Demonic Inspiration.We simply make mistakes, end of story.

 

As above, as one continues down a sub-optimal path one may, in time, sink into sin and get Demons and see things spiral out of control.However, Father says that in most cases there is NO Satanic or Demonic involvement in getting into such situations.

 

That said, it IS possible for the Satanic and Demonic Realm to inject wrong thoughts into a persons thinking to send them off in the wrong direction if they are not constantly testing what they are doing with Yah.This is particularly the case with regard to Doctrine (Teaching) and Revelation.

 

12. What to DO about it

CEASE believing you are led by the Spirit of Yah in everything all the time and recognize that you are responsible for your thoughts and decisions with the caveat that it IS possible to go to Father Yah for guidance.But then, you MUST spend real quality time with Him, listen attentively, be obedient, ask for confirmation and signs and generally go to significant lengths to ensure you are being guided by Him and, even then YOU must make the final choices!

 

 

Conclusion

This is totally at odds with what I was taught in the Charismatic movement in the mid-90’s and with what I have believed up to a few months ago, but I am convinced it is valid and is the biggest single reason that people who at one time were committed Believers, fall away, get into wrong relationships, make bad business decisions, do things in ministry that are destructive, get into wrong doctrine and / or fall away completely.

 

If you have been convicted that YOU are potentially falling into this trap, please pray along the lines of:

 

Father Yah, I have realized that I have been assuming you are leading me in ways that I now recognize I am solely responsible for – I recognize that I have blamed you for things that have gone wrong and that I have NOT accepted full responsibility for my life.

 

I recognize that You want me to rule WITH you and that I am NOT a Glove Puppet.

 

I repent of my errors and ask you to forgive me.

 

Help me to get closer to you.

 

Help me to hear you more clearly.

 

Help me to check in with you BEFORE I take any significant decisions.

 

Above all I recognize that I am FULLY responsible for the way I live my life and I apologize for abdicating that responsibility.

 

Amen

 

I hope that this discussion has helped you to better understand why things may not be working out in your life with Yah and steps you can take to improve things.

 

May Father bless you and keep you and make His face to shine upon you and grant you His Peace

 

May Yah judge me severely and correct me harshly and show me the level of my present deception and how to correct it with regard to everything that I write and publish

For a number of years now I have wanted to publish my writings in hard copy format in order to make the writings more accessible to people who do not necessarily have reliable Internet access or who prefer to work with paper copies.

Nearly all the writings since the start of my journey with the Almighty Creator have now been collated into 12 Volumes, 15 physical books, a total of around 7,500 pages, which were published in mid-June 2019.

Volume 1 in the set also has a CD with Recommended Worship and a USB Memory Card with the entire contents of the website, PLUS all the books, PLUS all the audio recordings and videos, PLUS a downloaded version of the Website that can be run standalone WITHOUT an Internet connection.  All of this material can be downloaded off the webpage https://www.eti-ministries.org/compilation-of-most-writings and child pages.

There is also a Booklet containing “Critical Elements of Belief”, a series of one-page Bullet Lists summarizing my understanding of all topics that I hold to be Critical in growing to a place of DEEP relationship with the Almighty Creator whose true Name is “Yah the Eternally Self-Existing”.

There are also two A4 size, tri-fold glossy flyers, one containing the essence of what I believe is necessary for a person who does NOT believe to come to belief and one containing the essence of what is necessary for a person who DOES believe to choose to seek to draw really close to Father Yah.

Father Yah I ask you to fill me with your Spirit and lead me into ALL truth by your Spirit

Father Yah I give you my life to do with as YOU see fit

Father Yah I ask you to bring the people that YOU want into my life and to take the people that you do NOT want in my life out

Father Yah I ask you to open the doors in my life that YOU want open and to close the doors in my life that YOU want closed

Father Yah I ask you to judge me severely and correct me harshly that I may serve you more perfectly
