Fundamentally my message is that Yahooshua was and is a created being, that he could NOT have accomplished what he did if he was NOT 100% human and that He is now in Heaven with tremendous glory, power and authority as a reward for his sinless life and obedience in death.  Some people have a major problem with this and write to tell me that I am mistaken and that Yahooshua IS God.

 

If you are a person who thinks that I am mistaken about Yahooshua then I would like to challenge you to PROVE that Yahooshua {Jesus} IS GOD (Yah, the Almighty, the Creator)!

 

In order to address this question, I have listed all the items that I can think of that prove that Yahooshua is NOT the Creator in the flesh, i.e. that Jesus is NOT God!  I have also rebutted as many of the arguments supporting the case for “Jesus is God” as I can think of.

 

In order to prove to me that Jesus IS God you will need to rebut all of these points using accurate language and verifiable data. 

 

Reference to the Bible BUT the Bible is NOT the Word of God

Note that the mistaken belief that Yahooshua IS the Almighty (Yah) {Jesus IS God} is based on mistranslations of the Bible – those who believe that Jesus is God misquote the Bible to prove Jesus is God and do NOT take account of the true names and accurate translation.  These points are addressed in the following sections.

 

Fundamental approach to verification

Fundamentally you must be able to verify what you believe for yourself without relying on others to interpret for you, that includes me – dig into the Bible verses I quote and any others that come to mind, make sure you have the correct root words and that you can substantiate your beliefs across the ENTIRE Bible!   Fundamentally, what I am saying is “Prove it for yourself don't take another's word for it!”  See the article “2022.11.07 Can YOU prove that the Bible IS The Holy Word of God?” https://www.eti-ministries.org/can-you-prove-that-the-bible-is-the-holy-word-of-god for a more detailed discussion this concept.

 

Following is the list of points that I can think of – words in curly brackets {} are inaccurate and should be avoided:

 

1. Name of Creator is Yah the Eternally Self-Existing

In considering this topic it is important to recognize that the true Name of the Almighty Creator is “Yah the Eternally Self-Existing” NOT The LORD, NOT God, etcetera – see “2021.08.03 The Essence of my Message re Names” at https://www.eti-ministries.org/essence-of-message-re-names and “2022.12.02 The Name of Yah the Creator is Throughout the Bible” at https://www.eti-ministries.org/name-yah-the-creator-throughout-bible

 

In other words, to prove the thesis that Jesus is God one must prove that Yahooshua {Jesus} IS Yah and the Almighty and the Creator.

 

2. Name of the being in question is Yahooshua NOT Jesus

In considering this discussion consider “Names including Yah” https://www.eti-ministries.org/names-including-yah and note that the true name of the one commonly referred to as “Jesus” is “Yahooshua” meaning “Yah is Salvation” which points to the Creator as Saviour NOT the created being.In continuing this discussion I will use the name Yahooshua from here onwards.

 

Note also the distinction between their names – clearly Yahooshua has a name that is distinct from Yah and which points to Yah.This distinction is lost in the use of Jesus, God, the LORD, etcetera.To prove that Jesus is God one has to overcome this point.

 

3. Not one jot or tittle of the Torah (Law) will pass away

In considering the subject of proving that Jesus is God a fundamental point of departure is Matthew 5:18 Yahooshua speaking “For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the Torah {law} till all is fulfilled.”

 

Fundamentally ALL arguments in the context of the submission that “Jesus is God” MUST comply with the terms of the core “Old Testament” and particularly the Ten Commandments.  If one cannot prove Jesus is God taking account of this verse their argument falls flat.

 

4. Covenant of Yahooshua {Jesus} only came into existence on his death, he was an “Old Testament” Prophet!

It is vital to understand that the “New Covenant” through Yahooshua only came into existence when he died without sin, see “2020.10.01 The miraculous planning of the death of Yahooshua – where, how and what” at https://www.eti-ministries.org/miracle-of-yahooshua-jesus-death

 

Note also that in ALL Yahooshua accomplished he accomplished as an “Old Testament Prophet” see “2012.08.08 - Yahooshua was an OLD Testament Prophet” at https://www.eti-ministries.org/yahooshua/yahooshua-part-1/yahooshua-was-an-old-testament-prophet -- in other words ALL that he achieved could have been achieved by ANY other Believer alive at that time IF they had the knowledge and Anointing and were free of sin.

 

To prove that Jesus is God one must establish what he did on the Earth that could ONLY have been done by the Creator – in this regard see comments below re “Christ = the Anointing of the Spirit of Yah”.

 

5. Great Commandment “Love Yah with ALL your heart, mind, soul and strength”

In considering the assertion that “Jesus is God” which is more accurately “Yahooshua is Yah” which, in itself does not make a lot of sense, consider the Great Commandment given in Deuteronomy 6:5 “You shall love Yah the Eternally Self-Existing your Mighty One {the LORD your God} with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength”

 

Remember that in Matthew 22:37 Yahooshua quotes this verse “Yahooshua said to him, “‘You shall love Yah the Eternally Self-Existing  your Mighty One with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’”

 

Note “ALL” – this does NOT leave room for one to love Yahooshua over Yah!For one to believe that Jesus is God one has to find a way of explaining how one is NOT breaking this Commandment!And remember that Yahooshua commanded this so there is NO way he is going to want one to break this Commandment!

 

6. First Commandment of the Ten Commandments – NO other Mighty Ones beside Yah

Remember also Deuteronomy 6:4 “Hear, O Israel: Yah the Eternally Self-Existing our Mighty One, Yah the Eternally Self-Existing is one!” and also Exodus 20:1 and 2 “2“I am Yah the Eternally Self-Existing your Mighty One, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. 3 “You shall have no other Mighty Ones before Me.” Yahooshua is clearly a mighty one but he is NOT THE Almighty Mighty One therefore do NOT worship Yahooshua!”

 

7. Ordinary people do NOT understand Anointed One’s and what they do

In considering this discussion it is vital to understand that ordinary people do NOT understand Anointed One’s and what those Anointed One’s say and do.So it is entirely possible that the people who recorded the Gospels, the book of Acts, etcetera misunderstood certain situations and things that were said.For this reason there is a need for caution in interpreting the Bible relating to Yahooshua.

 

8. Yah can speak through a Spokesman (Prophet) in the first person

I have had experiences where Yah has spoken through me in the first person and there are a number of instances in the Gospels where Yah spoke through Yahooshua in the first person, that does NOT make Yahooshua Yah, it makes him an Anointed Spokesman.

 

9. Issues of Bible Verses – errors in transcription and translation through corrupt doctrine

One of the challenges with the Bible is that in the early days texts were manually transcribed by people with no formal disciplines with regard to transcription accuracy and were likewise translated by people with disciplines with regard to translation accuracy.The reality is that they were liable to filter their writing through any preconceived notions they might have had.

 

One report says there are about 1,250 discrepancies in the New Testament source manuscripts.The same report says that the most popular Bible translations are based on a manuscript found in the trash bin of a Monastery.So, one must be very careful with regard to the doctrine one builds based on the Bible particularly where it appears that the New Testament is at odds with the Old Testament with regard to the standing of Yahooshua.

 

10. Christ means “Anointed with the Spirit of Yah”

This issue has been discussed in some detail in the articles on the five lies, nine truths, essence of message relating to Yahooshua.

 

Fundamentally Christ relates to Yah and NOT to Yahooshua – this is one of the greatest misunderstandings that perpetuates the lie that Jesus is God.Christ is equated to Jesus and then transposes attributes of the Creator, Yah, onto the created being Yahooshua.

 

It is the Spirit of Yah that IS the “Christ” that heals, performs miracles, etcetera.

 

This being so, how then does one prove that Yahooshua is Yah? {Jesus is God?}.

 

Any reference that equates Christ with Jesus is in most cases suspect and false – refer previous articles.

 

11. Yahooshua is Adonai (lord) NOT “The LORD”

Another linguistic confusion in the Bible is that Jesus is called “lord” in the New Testament and Yah is called “The LORD” in the Old Testament so people equate the two.Yahooshua is Adonai (a human lord) whereas “The LORD” is a wrong translation of “Yah the Eternally Self-Existing” – once one corrects one’s language this confusion falls away.

 

Again, once it is established that Yahooshua is NOT the LORD, how then is Jesus God?Refer articles cited above.

 

12. No Trinity

Noting previous points it is important to understand that there is only ONE verse, Matthew 28:19, which specifically references “Father, Son and Set-Apart Spirit”.Note here that the Set-Apart Spirit is part ofYah so there is NO Trinity and, in fact, the Trinity is a pagan concept see https://www.ucg.org/bible-study-tools/booklets/is-god-a-trinity/how-ancient-trinitarian-gods-influenced-adoption-of-the-trinity

 

13. Jesus is a god but NOT Yah

As discussed in previous articles, as cited above, the Hebrew word translated “god” is correctly translated as “Mighty One” or “Almighty” in the context of the Creator or “mighty one” in the context of Yahooshua and other powerful human beings – so a President or Prime Minister IS a mighty one or “god”.

 

Accordingly it IS correct to say that Jesus is a god but it is false to say that Yahooshua is Yah or Jesus is God.  Once this distinction is made, how then does one prove that Yahooshua IS Yah?

 

14. All created beings are children of God

People think that because Yahooshua referred to himself as the “son of God”, i.e. the “son of Yah” that this somehow made him a procreated offspring of Yah.Consider for example 1 John 3:2 “Beloved, now we are children of the Almighty {God}; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is.”.There are other verses that refer to “The Sons of the Almighty {God}”.

 

Consider Job 1:6 “One day the sons of God (sons of the Almighty) came to present themselves before Yah the Eternally Self-Existing {the LORD}, and Satan also came with them” so ALL created beings are “sons” of the Almighty, that is sons of Yah!

 

As a Believer one refers to Father Yah as “Father”, that makes us sons and daughters – so when Yahooshua refers to himself as the son of Yah that is ALL that he is saying.

 

Note also the genealogy in Luke 3:37-38 “…37 the son of Methuselah, the son of Enoch, the son of Jared, the son of Mahalalel, the son of Cainan, 38 the son of Enosh, the son of Seth, the son of Adam, the son of the Almighty {God}.” So we see also that Adam is called a son of the Almighty, that is a son of Yah!So it entirely legitimate for Adam’s son Yahooshua to refer to himself as a son of the Almighty {God} and this does NOT ascribe any form of deity to Yahooshua.

 

Clearly one cannot use “son of God” to prove deity for Yahooshua.

 

15. Remember if you get this wrong long time in Hell

Consider “2022.08.03 Believers in Hell for Unrepented Sin” at https://www.eti-ministries.org/believers-in-hell-for-unrepented-sin -- if one is mistaken about Yahooshua being Yah in the flesh and espouses that doctrine then you are believing and espousing a lie and will spend time in Hell, the place of correction, before entering Heaven!  AND you will be breaking the first Commandment so a very bad place in Hell!

 

So, it behoves one to be very certain of one’s doctrine relating to Yahooshua BEFORE one dies!

 

16. Yah desires a DEEP Personal Relationship, why should He limit Himself

Yah desires a DEEP Personal Relationship with each one of us, WHY would He limit himself to a limited physical manifestation?This again speaks to the Anointing of the Spirit of Yah {Christ} referring to Yah Himself on EVERY Anointed, Spirit Filled Believer.

 

17. Creative Miracle less than Adam and Chavah

As discussed in the articles cited above the miracle of the creation of Yahooshua in the fallopian tube of Miriam from an ovum was less of a miracle than the formation of Adam from the “dust of the Earth” and Chavah {Eve} from Adam’s rib – see Genesis.

 

18. Which is a greater miracle – walk on water or axe-head float on water?

It is suggested by some that since Yahooshua {Jesus} walked on water he must be Yah -- consider Matthew 14: 24 to 27 “24 But the boat [by this time] was already a long distance from land, tossed and battered by the waves; for the wind was against them. 25 And in the fourth watch of the night (3:00-6:00 a.m.) Jesus came to them, walking on the sea. 26 When the disciples saw Him walking on the sea, they were terrified, and said, “It is a ghost!” And they cried out in fear. 27 But immediately He spoke to them, saying, “Take courage, it is I! Do not be afraid!””

 

Contrast this with 2 Kings 6:1 to 7 “1 Now the sons of the prophets said to Elisha, “Look now, the place where we live near you is too small for us. 2 Please let us go to the Jordan [River] and let each man take from there a beam [for the building]; and let us make a place there for ourselves where we may live.” And he answered, “Go.” 3 Then one said, “Please be willing to go with your servants.” So he answered, “I shall go.” 4 So he went with them; and when they came to the Jordan, they cut down [some of] the trees. 5 But it happened that as one was cutting down a beam, the axe head fell into the water; and he cried out and said, “Oh no, my master! It was borrowed!” 6 The man of God said, “Where did it fall?” When he showed him the place, Elisha cut off a stick and threw it in there, and made the iron [axe head] float. 7 He said, “Pick it up for yourself.” So he reached out with his hand and took it.”

 

It is suggested that causing an axe head to float is no less of a miracle than walking on water – this is the Anointing of Yah on Elisha and Yahooshua respectively, this does NOT prove that Jesus is God.

 

Consider also Moshe {Moses} Dividing the sea and other miracles.

 

Also Shedrach, Meshach and Abednego walking in the fire at Daniel 3: 19 to 27 “19 Then Nebuchadnezzar was full of fury, and the expression on his face changed toward Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego. He spoke and commanded that they heat the furnace seven times more than it was usually heated. 20 And he commanded certain mighty men of valor who were in his army to bind Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego, and cast them into the burning fiery furnace. 21 Then these men were bound in their coats, their trousers, their turbans, and their other garments, and were cast into the midst of the burning fiery furnace. 22 Therefore, because the king’s command was urgent, and the furnace exceedingly hot, the flame of the fire killed those men who took up Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego. 23 And these three men, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego, fell down bound into the midst of the burning fiery furnace.

 

24 Then King Nebuchadnezzar was astonished; and he rose in haste and spoke, saying to his counselors, “Did we not cast three men bound into the midst of the fire?”

 

They answered and said to the king, “True, O king.”

 

25 “Look!” he answered, “I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire; and they are not hurt, and the form of the fourth is like the Son of the Almighty {God}.”

 

26 Then Nebuchadnezzar went near the mouth of the burning fiery furnace and spoke, saying, “Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego, servants of the Most High Mighty One {God}, come out, and come here.” Then Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego came from the midst of the fire. 27 And the satraps, administrators, governors, and the king’s counselors gathered together, and they saw these men on whose bodies the fire had no power; the hair of their head was not singed nor were their garments affected, and the smell of fire was not on them.”

 

The bottom line is that an anointed one who is obedient and has Emunah {Faith} can work mighty miracles!  Yahooshua was a particularly good example but YOU can do similar things IF you choose to get really close to Father Yah!

 

19. Wine from water versus Moshe sweet water

John 2: 6 to 11 “6 Now there were set there six waterpots of stone, according to the manner of purification of the Jews, containing twenty or thirty gallons apiece. 7 Jesus said to them, “Fill the waterpots with water.” And they filled them up to the brim. 8 And He said to them, “Draw some out now, and take it to the master of the feast.” And they took it. 9 When the master of the feast had tasted the water that was made wine, and did not know where it came from (but the servants who had drawn the water knew), the master of the feast called the bridegroom. 10 And he said to him, “Every man at the beginning sets out the good wine, and when the guests have well drunk, then the inferior. You have kept the good wine until now!”

 

“11 This beginning of signs Yahooshua {Jesus} did in Cana of Galilee, and manifested His glory; and His disciples believed in Him.”

 

Contrast this with Exodus 15:22 to 25 “22 So Moshe {Moses} brought Israel from the Red Sea; then they went out into the Wilderness of Shur. And they went three days in the wilderness and found no water. 23 Now when they came to Marah, they could not drink the waters of Marah, for they were bitter. Therefore the name of it was called Marah. 24 And the people complained against Moshe, saying, “What shall we drink?” 25 So he cried out to Yah the Eternally Self-Existing {the Lord}, and Yah the Eternally Self-Existing showed him a tree. When he cast it into the waters, the waters were made sweet.”

 

Again the work of an anointed one operating in faith, which is the greater miracle?

 

20. Yahooshua Healed Lepers and Elisha Healed Naaman the Syrian of Leprosy

Matthew 8:2 to 4 “ 2 And a leper came up to Him and bowed down before Him, saying, “Adonai {Lord}, if You are willing, You are able to make me clean (well).” 3 Yahooshua {Jesus} reached out His hand and touched him, saying, “I am willing; be cleansed.” Immediately his leprosy was cleansed. 4 And Yahooshua {Jesus} said to him, “See that you tell no one [about this]; but go, show yourself to the priest [for inspection] and present the offering that Moses commanded, as a testimony (evidence) to them [of your healing].””  Note that Yahooshua conforms to the standards set by Moshe {Moses} – the Old Covenant had NOT passed away.

 

Consider 2 Kings 5:8 to 14 “8 Now when Elisha the man of the Almighty {God} heard that the king of Israel had torn his clothes, he sent word to the king, asking, “Why have you torn your clothes? Just let Naaman come to me, and he shall know that there is a [true] prophet in Israel.” 9 So Naaman came with his horses and chariots and stopped at the entrance of Elisha’s house. 10 Elisha sent a messenger to him, saying, “Go and wash in the Jordan seven times, and your flesh will be restored to you and you will be clean.” 11 But Naaman was furious and went away and said, “Indeed! I thought ‘He would at least come out to [see] me and stand and call on the name of Yah the Eternally Self-Existing his Mighty One {the LORD his God}, and wave his hand over the place [of leprosy] and heal the leper.’ 12 Are not Abana and Pharpar, the rivers of Damascus [in Aram], better than all the waters of Israel? Could I not wash in them and be clean?” So he turned and went away in a rage. 13 Then his servants approached and said to him, “My father, if the prophet had told you to do some great thing, would you not have done it? How much more then, when he has said to you, ‘Wash, and be clean?’” 14 So he went down and plunged himself into the Jordan seven times, just as the man of the Almighty {God} had said; and his flesh was restored like that of a little child and he was clean.”

 

So we see that healing was NOT exclusive to Yahooshua, it is the Anointing of the Spirit of Yah, upon the man (the Christ) that performs the miracles.  YOU TOO can do such works IF you do the work necessary to come to that level of Anointing and Emunah {faith} – healing does NOT make Jesus God!

 

21. Yahooshua raised the dead and so did Elisha

John 11:38 to 44 “ 38 So Yahooshua {Jesus}, again deeply moved within, approached the tomb. It was a cave, and a boulder was lying against it [to cover the entrance]. 39 Yahooshua said, “Take away the stone.” Martha, the sister of the dead man, said to Him, “Adonai {Lord}, by this time there will be an offensive odor, for he has been dead four days! [It is hopeless!]” 40 Yahooshua said to her, “Did I not say to you that if you believe, you will see the glory of Yah [the expression of His excellence]?” 41 So they took away the stone. And Yahooshua raised His eyes [toward heaven] and said, “Father, I thank You that You have heard Me. 42 I knew that You always hear Me and listen to Me; but I have said this because of the people standing around, so that they may believe that You have sent Me [and that You have made Me Your representative].” 43 When He had said this, He shouted with a loud voice, “Lazarus, come out!” 44 Out came the man who had been dead, his hands and feet tightly wrapped in burial cloths (linen strips), and with a [burial] cloth wrapped around his face. Yahooshua said to them, “Unwrap him and release him.””

 

2 Kings 4: 32 to 37 “32 When Elisha came into the house, the child was dead and lying on his bed. 33 So he went in, shut the door behind the two of them, and prayed to Yah the Eternally Self-Existing. 34 Then he went up and lay on the child and put his mouth on his mouth, his eyes on his eyes, and his hands on his hands. And as he stretched himself out on him and held him, the boy’s skin became warm. 35 Then he returned and walked in the house once back and forth, and went up [again] and stretched himself out on him; and the boy sneezed seven times and he opened his eyes. 36 Then Elisha called Gehazi and said, “Call this Shunammite.” So he called her. And when she came to him, he said, “Pick up your son.” 37 She came and fell at his feet, bowing herself to the ground [in respect and gratitude]. Then she picked up her son and left.”

 

So, again, we see that it is Yah NOT the man who raises from the dead.  There are spokesmen and spokeswomen of Yah who today raise people from the dead by the Spirit of Yah.  YOU too can do this!  This does NOT prove Jesus is God.

 

22. Yah spoke in the first person through various spokesmen (Prophets) just as He spoke through Yahooshua

Ezekiel 20: 1 to 8 “1 In the seventh year, in the fifth month, on the tenth of the month [after the beginning of the exile in Babylon], certain of the elders of Israel came to inquire of Yah the Eternally Self-Existing {the LORD} and sat down before me. 2 Then came the word of Yah the Eternally Self-Existing {the LORD} to me, saying, 3 “Son of man, speak to the elders of Israel and say to them, ‘Thus says Yah the Eternally Self-Existing Almighty {the Lord GOD}, “Have you come to inquire of Me? As I live,” says Yah the Eternally Self-Existing Almighty {the Lord GOD}, “I will not be inquired of by you.”’ 4 Will you judge them, son of man, will you judge them? Then make them know [accurately] and understand fully the repulsive acts of their fathers; 5and say to them, ‘Thus says Yah the Eternally Self-Existing Almighty {the Lord GOD}, “On the day when I chose Israel and lifted up My hand and swore to the descendants of the house of Jacob and made Myself known to them in the land of Egypt, when I swore to them, saying, I am Yah the Eternally Self-Existing your Mighty One {the Lord your GOD}, 6 on that day I swore to them to bring them out of the land of Egypt into a land that I had selected for them, [plentiful and] flowing with milk and honey, [a land] which is an ornament and a glory to all lands. 7 Then I said to them, ‘Let every man throw away the detestable things on which he feasts his eyes, and do not defile yourselves with the idols of Egypt; I am Yah the Eternally Self-Existing your Mighty One {the Lord your GOD}.’ 8 But they rebelled against Me and were not willing to listen to Me; they did not throw away the detestable things on which they feasted their eyes, nor did they give up the idols of Egypt.

 

“Then I decided to pour out My wrath on them and finish My anger against them in the land of Egypt.”

 

Here we see Yah speaking through Ezekiel in the first person.  There are a significant number of passages in the Gospels where Yah speaks through Yahooshua likewise in the first person.  This does NOT make Yahooshua Yah, it makes Yahooshua an Anointed Spokesman through whom Yah speaks in the first person at times.  As mentioned above, I have personally had this experience of Yah speaking through me in the first person – all those in the room understood it was Yah and NOT James.

 

23. The Word became Flesh

John 1:14 “And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.” Rewording this “the command of Yah was fulfilled in Yahooshua”, this does NOT say that Yahooshua is “the Word” and it does NOT say that “he is Yah”.One must be very careful in inferring deity through verses like this.

 

24. Yahooshua in Heaven has great Power and Authority and a Glorious Body

It IS so that following his resurrection, for living without sin, Yahooshua was given a glorious resurrected body and great power and authority including the ability to converse with multiple people at the same time and to manifest in multiple locations at the same time, as is possible with Yah.  This does NOT make Yahooshua Yah, it simply reflects the reward he received for his sinless and obedient life.  Similar powers and authority are available to anyone who serves Father Yah to the full measure in this age.  YOU can achieve this if you make the effort in this life to live free of sin and in close relationship with Yah!

 

25. The Spirit that became Yahooshua DID have special standing with Yah

The Spirit that was inserted into the fertilized ovum in Miriam {Mary} was the most powerful CREATED being in the Universe, the first Spirit being that Yah created at the commencement of the Creation process so, indeed, he DID have great standing and extensive experience which is referred to in various places in the Bible but this does NOT make him Yah.

 

26. “I and my Father are one”, just as a man and wife are one

John 10:22 to 30 “22 At that time the Feast of Dedication took place at Jerusalem. 23 It was winter, and Yahooshua {Jesus} was walking in the temple [area] in Solomon’s portico. 24 So the Jews surrounded Him and began saying to Him, “How long are You going to keep us in suspense? If You are [really] the Anointed One {Christ} (the Messiah, the Anointed), tell us so plainly and openly.” 25 Yahooshua answered them, “I have told you so, yet you do not believe. The works that I do in My Father’s name testify concerning Me [they are My credentials and the evidence declaring who I am]. 26 But you do not believe Me [so you do not trust and follow Me] because you are not My sheep. 27 The sheep that are My own hear My voice and listen to Me; I know them, and they follow Me. 28 And I give them eternal life, and they will never, ever [by any means] perish; and no one will ever snatch them out of My hand. 29 My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater and mightier than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand. 30 I and the Father are One [in essence and nature].””

 

Note that Yahooshua says that his works are done in the Name of Yah.Where Yahooshua says that he and the Father are one this is no different to a man and woman being one flesh once they have consummated their union – Yahooshua is saying that the Spirit of the Father is IN him and that this makes them ONE so Yahooshua communicates intimately with Yah.

 

Consider: Mark 10:7 to 9, Matthew 19:5, Ephesians 5:31 all of which cite Genesis 2:24 “Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.” Refer “2022.07.04 The Essence of my Message re Men and Women” at https://www.eti-ministries.org/essence-of-my-message-re-men-and-women

 

Thus, ALL Believers who are filled with the Spirit of Yah are ONE with Yah, just as Yahooshua was one with Yah when he walked the Earth.

 

27. The Father IN Yahooshua

Consider John 14:8 to 14 “8 Philip said to Him, “Adonai {Lord}, show us the Father and then we will be satisfied.” 9 Yahooshua {Jesus} said to him, “Have I been with you for so long a time, and you do not know Me yet, Philip, nor recognize clearly who I am? Anyone who has seen Me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father?’ 10 Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father is in Me? The words I say to you I do not say on My own initiative or authority, but the Father, abiding continually in Me, does His works [His attesting miracles and acts of power]. 11 Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father is in Me; otherwise believe [Me] because of the [very] works themselves [which you have witnessed]. 12 I assure you and most solemnly say to you, anyone who believes in Me will also do the things that I do; and he will do even greater things than these [in extent and outreach], because I am going to the Father. 13 And I will do whatever you ask in My name [as My representative], this I will do, so that the Father may be glorified and celebrated in the Son. 14 If you ask Me anything in My name [as My representative], I will do it.”

 

Here we clearly see that Yahooshua distinguishes between himself and Father Yah – it is the Father IN Yahooshua who performs the miracles and guides Yahooshua, just as the Father will do with ANY highly anointed one who is REALLY CLOSE to Father!

 

28. Yahooshua only did what he saw the Father do

John 5:19 to 21 “19 So Yahooshua {Jesus} answered them by saying, “I assure you and most solemnly say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself [of His own accord], unless it is something He sees the Father doing; for whatever things the Father does, the Son [in His turn] also does in the same way. 20 For the Father dearly loves the Son and shows Him everything that He Himself is doing; and the Father will show Him greater works than these, so that you will be filled with wonder. 21 Just as the Father raises the dead and gives them life [and allows them to live on], even so the Son also gives life to whom He wishes.”

29. Yahooshua -- “go in my name” reflects the authority he gained through his sinless life

Matthew 28:16 to 20 “16 Now the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain which Yahooshua had designated. 17 And when they saw Him, they worshiped Him; but some doubted [that it was really He]. 18 Yahooshua came up and said to them, “All authority (all power of absolute rule) in heaven and on earth has been given to Me. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations [help the people to learn of Me, believe in Me, and obey My words], baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe everything that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always [remaining with you perpetually--regardless of circumstance, and on every occasion], even to the end of the age.”

 

The authority here is given to Yahooshua because of his sinless life and death, see “2020.10.01 The miraculous planning of the death of Yahooshua – where, how and what” at https://www.eti-ministries.org/miracle-of-yahooshua-jesus-death -- this authority is delegated to ALL who TRULY Believe and are filled with the Spirit of Yah.  This authority does NOT make Jesus God.

 

30. “Do NOT be called Rabbi for it is the Spirit of Yah that teaches you”

Consider Matthew 23:8 to 12 Yahooshua speaking “8 But do not be called Rabbi (Teacher); for One is your Teacher, and you are all [equally] brothers. 9 Do not call anyone on earth [who guides you spiritually] your father; for One is your Father, He who is in heaven. 10 Do not let yourselves be called leaders or teachers; for One is your Leader (Teacher), the Anointing of the Spirit of Yah {Christ}. 11 But the greatest among you will be your servant. 12 Whoever exalts himself shall be humbled; and whoever humbles himself shall be raised to honor.”

 

This is a classic verse where the confusion between Christ referring to Jesus when it in fact refers to Yah is manifest for most Christians.

 

31. Yahooshua – “have faith in Yah”

Consider Mark 11:20 to 24 “20 In the morning, as they were passing by, the disciples saw that the fig tree had withered away from the roots up. 21 And remembering, Peter said to Him, “Rabbi (Master), look! The fig tree which You cursed has withered!” 22 Yahooshua replied, “Have faith in the Almighty {God} [constantly]. 23 I assure you and most solemnly say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be lifted up and thrown into the sea!’ and does not doubt in his heart [in Yah’s {God’s} unlimited power], but believes that what he says is going to take place, it will be done for him [in accordance with Yah’s will]. 24 For this reason I am telling you, whatever things you ask for in prayer [in accordance with Yah’s will], believe [with confident trust] that you have received them, and they will be given to you.”

 

Again Yahooshua is pointed those who followed him to Yah NOT to himself.

 

32. Regarding “overshadowed” – It is a Lie that Yah had sex with Miriam {Mary}

Part of the wrong thinking about Yahooshua is a belief that reference to the Almighty “overshadowing” Miriam {Mary} means that he had sex with her.

 

See Luke 1:26 to 38 “26 Now in the sixth month [of Elizabeth’s pregnancy] the Messenger {angel} Gabriel was sent from the Almighty {God} to a city in Galilee called Nazareth, 27 to a virgin betrothed to a man whose name was Joseph, a descendant of the house of David; and the virgin’s name was Miriam {Mary}. 28 And coming to her, the angel said, “Greetings, favored one! Yah the Eternally Self-Existing {The Lord} is with you.” 29 But she was greatly perplexed at what he said, and kept carefully considering what kind of greeting this was. 30 The Messenger {angel} said to her, “Do not be afraid, Miriam {Mary}, for you have found favor with the Almighty {God}. 31 Listen carefully: you will conceive in your womb and give birth to a son, and you shall name Him Yahooshua {Jesus}. 32 He will be great and eminent and will be called the Son of the Most High; and Yah the Eternally Self-Existing the Almighty {the Lord God} will give Him the throne of His father David; 33 and He will reign over the house of Jacob (Israel) forever, and of His kingdom there shall be no end.” 34 Mary said to the angel, “How will this be, since I am a virgin and have no intimacy with any man?” 35 Then the Messenger {angel} replied to her, “The Set-Apart {Holy} Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you [like a cloud]; for that reason the holy (pure, sinless) Child shall be called the Son of the Almighty {God}. 36 And listen, even your relative Elizabeth has also conceived a son in her old age; and she who was called barren is now in her sixth month. 37 For with the Almighty {God} nothing [is or ever] shall be impossible.” 38 Then Mary said, “Behold, I am the servant of Yah the Eternally Self-Existing {the Lord}; may it be done to me according to your word.” And the angel left her.”

 

It is clear from this that the Almighty did NOT have sex with Miriam, he performed a creative miracle that was less dramatic than the miracle of the creation of Adam from the dust of the Earth and of Chavah {Eve} from the rib of Adam.

 

Consider Genesis 2:7 “then Yah the Eternally Self-Existing Almighty {the LORD God} formed [that is, created the body of] man from the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and the man became a living being [an individual complete in body and spirit].”

 

Also Genesis 2:21 and 22 “21 So Yah the Eternally Self-Existing Almighty {the LORD God} caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam; and while he slept, He took one of his ribs and closed up the flesh at that place. 22 And the rib which Yah Eternally Self-Existing Almighty {the LORD God} had taken from the man He made (fashioned, formed) into a woman, and He brought her and presented her to the man.”

 

Clearly the creation of Yahooshua in the womb of Miriam is LESS of a miracle.

 

Consider also Genesis 21:1 to 3 “1 Yah the Eternally Self-Existing {The LORD} graciously remembered and visited Sarah as He had said, and Yah the Eternally Self-Existing {the LORD} did for her as He had promised. 2 So Sarah conceived and gave birth to a son for Abraham in his old age, at the appointed time of which the Almighty {God} had spoken to him. 3 Abraham named his son Isaac (laughter), the son to whom Sarah gave birth.”

 

A further miracle.This miracle validates that Yahooshua is a Created Being NOT God!

 

33. “The way the truth and the light there is no way but by me”

John 14:1 to 6 is often used to evidence Jesus deity “1 “Do not let your heart be troubled (afraid, cowardly). Believe [confidently] in the Almighty {God} and trust in Him, [have faith, hold on to it, rely on it, keep going and] believe also in Me. 2 In My Father’s house are many dwelling places. If it were not so, I would have told you, because I am going there to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back again and I will take you to Myself, so that where I am you may be also. 4 And [to the place] where I am going, you know the way.” 5 Thomas said to Him, “Adonai {Lord}, we do not know where You are going; so how can we know the way?” 6 Yahooshua {Jesus} said to him, “I am the Way [to the Almighty {God}] and the Truth and the Life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.”

 

Yahooshua is saying that his sinless life is the example, the way to the Almighty NOT that in some mysterious way he is a channel.  Note that he references specifically to Yah as his Father.

 

34. “I have seen Jesus and he knew everything about me he must be God”

I have encountered people who have encountered Yahooshua and on that basis assert that because he knew about them, because he was spectacularly glorious, etcetera that he must be God.  This is a matter of perception based on inaccurate knowledge and does NOT prove that Yahooshua is Yah. 

 

Note above that the disciples worshipped Yahooshua even though it is forbidden to worship a man – this does NOT make Yahooshua Yah, it makes the men who worshipped him fallible – which is a classic case of fallible humans who do NOT understand what is really going on making mistakes.

 

35. Messiah – Jewish version of wrong belief associated with Christ

The concept of Messiah as distinct from “Anointed One” relating to one with a special Anointing of the Spirit of Yah, contributes to wrong thinking about Yahooshua and contributed to the errors of the Yahoodites {Jews} that led them to call for Yahooshua’s death.  So, accurately, Messiah is a particular Anointed One which was fulfilled by Yahooshua of Natzareth just over 2,000 years ago – NOTHING MORE.

 

 

 

36. “For I have never spoken on My own initiative or authority, but the Father Himself who sent Me has given Me a commandment”

Consider John 12:44 to 50 “44 But Jesus loudly declared, “The one who believes and trusts in Me does not believe [only] in Me but [also believes] in Him who sent Me. 45 And whoever sees Me sees the One who sent Me. 46 I have come as Light into the world, so that everyone who believes and trusts in Me [all those who anchor their hope in Me and rely on the truth of My message] will not continue to live in darkness. 47 If anyone hears My words and does not keep them, I do not judge him; for I did not come to judge and condemn the world [that is, to initiate the final judgment of the world], but to save the world. 48 Whoever rejects Me and refuses to accept My teachings, has one who judges him; the very word that I spoke will judge and condemn him on the last day. 49 For I have never spoken on My own initiative or authority, but the Father Himself who sent Me has given Me a commandment regarding what to say and what to speak. 50 I know that His commandment is eternal life. So the things I speak, I speak [in accordance with His exact instruction,] just as the Father has told Me.””

 

Yahooshua again clearly states that he speaks what the Father tells him to speak – this relates to the Anointing of the Spirit of Yah upon Yahooshua.  Note that his powers are a consequence of his sinless life and death.

37. “Immanuel”

Consider Isaiah 7:10 to 16 “10 Then Yah the Eternally Self-Existing {the LORD} spoke again to [King] Ahaz, saying, 11 “Ask a sign for yourself from Yah the Eternally Self-Existing your Mighty One {the LORD your God} [one that will convince you that the Almighty {God} has spoken and will keep His word]; make your request as deep as Sheol or as high as heaven.” 12 But Ahaz said, “I will not ask, nor will I test Yah the Eternally Self-Existing {the LORD}!” 13 Then Isaiah said, “Hear then, O house of David! Is it too small a thing for you to try the patience of men, but will you try the patience of my Mighty One {God} as well? 14 Therefore Yah the Eternally Self-Existing {the Lord} Himself will give you a sign: Listen carefully, the virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and she will call his name Immanuel (the Almighty {God} with us). 15 He will eat curds and honey when he knows enough to refuse evil and choose good. 16 For before the child will know enough to refuse evil and choose good, the land (Canaan) whose two kings you dread will be deserted [both Ephraim and Aram].”

 

Note that his name “Immanuel” is simply another name relating to the Almighty, see the article “2022.12.02 The Name of Yah the Creator is Throughout the Bible” at https://www.eti-ministries.org/name-yah-the-creator-throughout-bible  for all sorts of Hebrew names that contain Yah or El – this word does NOT prove that Yahooshua is Yah.  Note that Yahooshua means “Yah is salvation” which relates to Yahooshua’s mission.

 

Consider also:

Elisha = “salvation of the Almighty”

EliYah {Elijah} = “Almighty Yah”

Daniel = Almighty my Judge

Building a doctrine on a name in the way that is done for Immanuel is extremely unwise – if one is going to build a doctrine on a name rather do so with Yahooshua which is the actual name given to be being in question.

 

Immanuel simply refers to an attribute associated with the Anointing of the Spirit of Yah ON the man.

 

38. Isaiah the spirit of Yah the Eternally Self-Existing {the LORD} is upon me

Isaiah 61:1 to 3 “1The Spirit of Yah the Eternally Self-Existing Almighty {the Lord GOD} is upon me,

Because Yah the Eternally Self-Existing {the LORD} has anointed and commissioned me

To bring good news to the humble and afflicted;

He has sent me to bind up [the wounds of] the brokenhearted,

To proclaim release [from confinement and condemnation] to the [physical and spiritual] captives

And freedom to prisoners,

2 To proclaim [a]the favorable year of Yah the Eternally Self-Existing {the LORD},

And the day of vengeance and retribution of our Mighty One {God},

To comfort all who mourn,

3 To grant to those who mourn in Zion the following:

To give them a turban instead of dust [on their heads, a sign of mourning],

The oil of joy instead of mourning,

The garment [expressive] of praise instead of a disheartened spirit.

So they will be called the trees of righteousness [strong and magnificent, distinguished for integrity, justice, and right standing with the Almighty {God}],

The planting of Yah the Eternally Self-Existing {the LORD}, that He may be glorified.

 

Yahooshua stated that he fulfilled this, note that it clearly refers to “Anointed” and by Yah.

 

39. I can do all things through the Anointing of Yah {Christ} who strengthens me

Philippians 4:13 Amplified “I can do all things [which He has called me to do] through Him who strengthens and empowers me [to fulfill His purpose—I am self-sufficient in the Anointing of Yah’s {Christ’s} sufficiency; I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him who infuses me with inner strength and confident peace.]”

 

Many people read this to indicate that Jesus will strengthen them, this is incorrect, Yah will strengthen them.  There are other similar verses that contribute to the mistaken belief’s about Jesus and Christ.

 

40. My Mighty One {God} will supply all your needs by the Anointing that was upon Yahooshua {Christ Jesus}

Philippians 4:19 “And my Mighty One {God} will liberally supply (fill until full) your every need according to His riches in glory in the Anointing that was upon Yahooshua {Christ Jesus}”.

 

Many read this that Jesus will supply all their needs, this is incorrect, Yah will supply all their needs. There are other similar verses that contribute to the mistaken belief’s about Jesus and Christ.

 

41. The Almighty {God} anointed Yahooshua {Jesus} of Nazareth

Acts 10:38 “how the Almighty {God} anointed Yahooshua {Jesus} of Nazareth with the Set-Apart {Holy} Spirit [of Yah] and with great power; and He went around doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, because the Almighty {God} was with Him.”

 

This verse makes it clear that it was the anointing of the Spirit of Yah that enabled Yahooshua to do the works that he did.

 

42. You will only be mine, if you continue in my word

 

John 8:31 -- so Yahooshua was saying to the Jews who had believed Him, “If you abide in My word [continually obeying My teachings and living in accordance with them, then] you are truly My disciples.” Amplified Bible

 

This makes it clear that Yahooshua was referring to obedience to and application of his teachings THEN they would truly be disciples, “disciplined ones” – there is nothing magical about this.

 

43. The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God

Mark 1:1 “The beginning of the [facts regarding the] good news of Yahooshua the Anointed of Yah {Jesus Christ}, the Son of the Almighty {God}.”

 

The same translation applies to all instances of “Jesus Christ” and to all instances of “Son of God”.In both cases there is a clear distinction between Yah and Yahooshua.

 

44. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom;

Colossians 3:16 “Let the [spoken] word of the Anointing of Yah {Christ} have its home within you [dwelling in your heart and mind—permeating every aspect of your being] as you teach [spiritual things] and admonish and train one another with all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs with thankfulness in your hearts to the Almighty {God}.” Amplified Bible

 

Once more the correct translations and the elaboration of the Greek through the Amplified Bible remove the mystique of the verse.

 

45. That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven…

Philippians 2:10 “so that at the name of Yahooshua {Jesus} EVERY KNEE SHALL BOW [in submission], of those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth,”

 

This is a direct consequence of the authority granted to Yahooshua through his life and death free of sin, see “2020.10.01 The miraculous planning of the death of Yahooshua – where, how and what” at https://www.eti-ministries.org/miracle-of-yahooshua-jesus-death

 

46. And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father

Philippians 2:11 “And that every tongue should confess that Yahooshua the Anointed of Yah {Jesus Christ} is Adonai {Lord}, to the glory of the Almighty {God} the Father.

 

Again a consequence of the life and death of Yahooshua without sin, see reference above.Again we see the clear distinction between Yah and Yahooshua.

 

47. The truth, which I heard from the Almighty {God}

John 8:40 Yahooshua speaking “But as it is, you want to kill Me, a Man who has told you the truth, which I heard from the Almighty {God}. This is not the way Abraham acted.”

 

Clearly Yahooshua is drawing a distinction between himself and the Almighty Creator and disproves any allegation that “Jesus is God”.

 

48. Theos translation = Almighty

The Word “God” in the above verse (John 8:40) is “Theos” Strong’s 2316 see

“Definition:

 

1. a god or goddess, a general name of deities or divinities
2. the Godhead, trinity
   1. God the Father, the first person in the trinity
   2. Christ, the second person of the trinity
   3. Holy Spirit, the third person in the trinity
3. spoken of the only and true God
   1. refers to the things of God
   2. his counsels, interests, things due to him
4. whatever can in any respect be likened unto God, or resemble him in any way
   1. God's representative or viceregent
      1. of magistrates and judges

 

So we clearly see that Theos is NOT exclusive to Yah so any New Testament verse that uses Theos to suggest that Jesus is God is of no consequence!

 

The word translated “God” in the Old Testament is Elohym meaning “Mighty One” (Yah), “mighty one” (Satan and human beings) or “Almighty” (Yah).

 

Fundamentally building ANY doctrine around “God” in the New Testament is at best suspect and at worst fundamentally flawed.

 

49. “Your Eternal Destiny Depends on How You Answer This Question!”

The following statement was sent to me by email “Jesus is one of the most controversial figures in history. His identity is what separates all world religions. Some claim He is just a good man and a prophet, others say He is a created being; still others say He is the Son of God. Every religion acknowledges Jesus; however, not all are right about who He is. If you are seeking truth, the beginning point of your search should be to know Jesus' accurate identity according to the Bible.”

 

It is hoped that by now it is apparent that accurate study of the Bible clearly proves that Yahooshua is NOT Yah {Jesus is NOT God} – the belief that Jesus is God results from corrupt and inaccurate translations resulting in corrupt and inaccurate doctrine.

 

50. Jesus is reported to have said “I am the way, the truth and the life; no man cometh unto The Father, but by me.”

The person who quoted this passage to me, John 14:6, wrote “There is a common belief that all religions are the same; that we all worship the same God. That simply isn't true. In John 14:6 Jesus said, " I am the way, the truth and the life; no man cometh unto The Father, but by me." "Jesus is The Only Way- not a way." Due to that fact, it is imperative to know the truth about Him.”

 

This is a challenging passage, the first point is to note that “worship the same God” is meaningless, the correct translation is “worship the same Mighty One” – which is clearly NOT correct other than the vast majority ARE worshipping Satan to some extent and Satan IS a mighty one.

 

Next it is alleged that Yahooshua is THE ONLY WAY – there are two elements to this.  Firstly “Yahooshua” means “Yah IS Salvation” so if one refers to Yahooshua one IS referring to Yah’s Salvation and there surely is not other way to Salvation with Yah EXCEPT Yah’s Salvation or, if you prefer “Yahooshua”!

 

Then there is the challenge of the veracity and accuracy of that specific Bible verse – refer the points above re the accuracy of Bible transcripts and Bible translations.  I am very clear that there are people in Heaven who are there DESPITE zero knowledge about Jesus OR Yahooshua.  They got there through revelation of the existence of the Creator and faith in Him!

 

See “2021.05.06 The Essence of my Message regarding Creation” at https://www.eti-ministries.org/essence-of-message-regarding-creation to see how it is entirely possible to come to a revelation of the reality of the Creator and, thereby, a saving knowledge of Him WITHOUT knowing Jesus or Yahooshua.

 

In this context it is important to note that in the people whom Yah has said to me are close to Him on Earth there is at least one Orthodox Jew and one Moslem Imam both of whom one can be certain do NOT believe in Jesus OR Yahooshua!

 

I suggest for your consideration that it is extremely UNWISE to build a whole doctrinal position on a few isolated verses like this that are capable of more than one interpretation and where there IS material risk of the verse being technically inaccurate.

 

51. Jesus is God in the Flesh

The same person who sent me the previous couple of items also sent me the following “Many people refer to Jesus as being The Son of God. This statement is Biblically correct. Unfortunately, many religions acknowledge Jesus as The Son of God, but they mean something different. When you question them, you find they believe He is a created being of some sort. It is incomplete to only say, "Jesus is the Son of God."  To clearly convey what The Bible says about Jesus, we must recognize Him as GOD IN THE FLESH. This statement clearly distinguishes the core of your belief.”

 

This accurately summarizes the position of the majority in the Christian grouping, however that does NOT make it correct.

 

I hope that if you have systematically reviewed every rebuttal in this document that it will be clear to you that Jesus was NOT “God in the Flesh”, that is Yahooshua was NOT “the Almighty in the Flesh”.

 

This is a huge lie and very large numbers of sincere Believers will spend time in Hell, the place of correction for Believers, BEFORE they enter Heaven, see “2022.08.03 Believers in Hell for Unrepented Sin” at https://www.eti-ministries.org/believers-in-hell-for-unrepented-sin

 

Fundamentally, on this point please validate your belief VERY carefully if you believe that Jesus IS God!

 

52. Who is a liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist who denies the Father and the Son.

The Amplified Bible translates this (1 John 2:22) nicely “Who is the liar but the one who denies that Yahooshua {Jesus} is the Anointed One {Christ} (the Messiah, the Anointed)? This is the antichrist [the enemy and antagonist of the Anointing of Yah {Christ}], the one who denies and consistently refuses to acknowledge the Father and the Son.”

 

The problem here is that a huge number of people who falsely claim that Jesus is God make it impossible for many people, including Jews and Moslems to believe in Yahooshua!

 

Further, “is the Christ” refers to the foretold Anointed One.  There is a huge problem here with the way that Christianity has corrupted and messed up the truth about Yahooshua {Jesus}, the Bible, and many other points addressed on the Website at https://www.eti-ministries.org/

 

53. Christ and Messiah are synonymous -- Yes

The same person who sent me the above items writes “John 4:25-26 states the titles Christ and Messiah are synonymous. Jesus was telling the woman at the well that He was the Messiah.”   This is entirely correct, Messiah and Christ BOTH refer to one Anointed with the Spirit of Yah, in this context a specific man as fulfilled by Yahooshua of Nazareth.

 

54. Old Testament foretells Messiah’s deity

The same person again writes “In the Old Testament the Messiah's deity was foretold. Isaiah 7:14 tells us "A  virgin shall conceive, and bear a Son, and shall call His name Immanuel." In Matthew 1:23 we learn the word Immanuel means GOD WITH US.”

 

Please refer to previous comments on Immanuel and “Almighty with us” – Immanuel refers to the Spirit of the Almighty, the Anointing, the Meshach, the Christ on the man NOT the man.  Note all the different Hebrew names with El and Yah discussed elsewhere – having a name that references Yah does not make the person Yah, it makes the person thought to be called that way by Yah when they were consecrated.

 

It is worth noting that clearly the Jews and Hebrews do NOT think that this verse defines the “deity” of Yahooshua since this is PRECISELY WHY they reject the Christian Jesus!

 

55. Child to be called “Mighty God” Isaiah 9:6

Isaiah 9:6 “For to us a Child shall be born, to us a Son shall be given; And the government shall be upon His shoulder, And His name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” Amplified Bible.

 

Wonderful Counselor and Prince of Pease present NO difficulty, entirely possible.

 

Mighty Mighty One {God}, he certainly is, see previous discussion of the meaning of “God”.

 

“Everlasting Father” is a bit more of a challenge but checking in the Biblehub Interlinear Bible at https://biblehub.com/interlinear/isaiah/9-6.htm we find that “Everlasting Father” is Strong’s number 5703 and on drilling down to 5703 at https://biblehub.com/hebrew/5703.htm we find that all the other instances of 5703 indicate “forever” and similar with NO reference to “Father”

 

“all (1), continually (1), Eternal (1), ever (15), forever (26), forever* (1), forevermore* (2), old (1), perpetual (1)”

 

The best that can be said for this phrase is that it relates to the foretold Anointed one reigning forever, which IS certainly the case for Yahooshua.

 

So, bottom line, Isaiah 9:6 proves NOTHING about the “deity of Jesus”.  One must be VERY circumspect about arguing the deity of Yahooshua from verses like this!

 

56. In John 8:58 Jesus declares that he was in the burning bush when Yah spoke to Moshe

The same writer writes “In John 8:58 Jesus referred to Himself when he talked to Moses at the burning bush Exodus 3:14”

 

John 8:58 states “Yahooshua {Jesus} said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM.””

 

There are two pieces here, firstly, as reported in various articles on Yahooshua, the Spirit being that came to Earth as Yahooshua of Natzareth was the first being that Yah created at the start of the creative process so, certainly, Yahooshua WAS before Abraham.

 

Secondly, it is suggested that Yahooshua said he was “I AM” implying the name given by Yah for Himself to Moshe in Exodus 3:14.

 

Referring to the Interlinear at https://biblehub.com/interlinear/john/8-58.htm we see that I AM is made up of Strong’s numbers 1473 and 1510 “ego eimi”.

 

Drilling down on 1473 at https://biblehub.com/greek/1473.htm we see a diversity of different English words allocated to this Greek word including “have (2), mine (10), mine* (1), myself (11), number (1), ours (8), ourselves (4), part (2), say (1)” so difficult to build much about “I” here.

 

Drilling down on 1510 at https://biblehub.com/greek/1510.htm we find “accompanied* (1), accompany* (2), am (138), amount (1), amounts (1), appear* (1), asserted* (1), become* (5), been (45), been* (1), being (26), belong (3), belonged* (1), belonging (1), belonging* (1), belongs (4), bring* (1), came (1), come (5), consist (1), crave* (1), depends* (1), do (1), done* (1), exist (3), existed (4), existed* (1), falls (1), found (1), had (8), happen (4), have (2), have come (1), lived (1), mean (1), mean* (2), means (7), meant (2), originate (1), owns (1), remain (3), remained (1), rest (1), sided (1), stayed (2), themselves (1), there (6), turn (1)” and a commentary that presumes the commonly held interpretation of this phrase.

 

1510 /eimí ("is, am") – in the present tense, indicative mood – can be time-inclusive ("omnitemporal," like the Hebrew imperfect tense). Only the context indicates whether the present tense also has "timeless" implications. For example, 1510 (eimí) is aptly used in Christ's great "I am" (ego eimi  . . . ) that also include His eternality (self-existent life) as our life, bread, light," etc. See Jn 7:34, 8:58, etc.

 

So, overall a pretty tenuous basis to suggest the deity of Yahooshua.

 

What we see here is a classic case of a preconceived doctrine being force fitted into the translation.  To falsely prove that “Jesus is God”!

 

57. Acts 20:28 says God purchased the church with His own blood. That could be true only if Jesus is God

Acts 20:28 states “Therefore take heed to yourselves and to all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God which He purchased with His own blood.”

 

This appears to indicate that Jesus IS God, which is the point of the writer.

 

Drilling down on the Interlinear at https://biblehub.com/interlinear/acts/20-28.htm we see that “He Purchased” is Strong’s 4046, drilling down on this at https://biblehub.com/greek/4046.htm we find “keep (1), obtain (1), purchased (1)” NO REFERENCE to “He” so another doctrinal extension.

 

Returning to the Interlinear we find “own” is Strong’s 2398.  Drilling down to https://biblehub.com/greek/2398.htm we get “due (1), friends (1), himself (4), home (1), individually (1), one's own (1), own (84), owner (1), private* (1), privately* (7), proper (4), themselves (3), themselves* (1)”

 

NOT a very strong basis to define such a fundamentally important principle as claiming that Jesus is God!  See above for the consequences of getting this wrong!

 

 

Conclusion

While I have certainly NOT comprehensively covered every possible Bible Verse and every possible facet of language it is my contention that the above sufficiently comprehensively demonstrates that “Jesus is NOT God” in the true sense of the word “God”, that is that “Yahooshua is NOT the Almighty, NOT Yah, NOT the Creator”.

The Almighty Creator Desires a DEEP Personal Relationship with YOU

 

If you die as an Unbeliever your spirit will live for a very long time as a disembodied Ancestor Spirit or Demon -- the Creator has said regarding Unbelievers "why would I want someone to spend Eternity with me when they do NOT Believe I exist?”

 

If you die as a Believer without any form of relationship with the Creator you will end up in the Outer Darkness – a cold, black, terrible place with weeping and wailing and gnashing of teeth (your teeth) – the trash heap of Heaven – Father has said concerning such Believers “why would I want someone to be close to me in Heaven, which inherently means I will give them great prestige and authority, if they do NOT have a deep personal relationship with me and have NOT proven to me that they can be trusted in this life?”

 

In stark contrast -- IF you make a real effort to seek relationship with the Almighty the rewards in the Life to Come are HUGE – a glorious resurrected body, great prestige, great authority and a permanent close relationship with the Creator AND with Yahooshua {who you may mistakenly know as Jesus}

 

To put this all in context the Almighty has said "I created Human beings, this planet and this universe for men and women to be my Friends, my companions, to explore and learn and develop together, my greatest grief is that almost NO person understands this let alone seeks such a relationship with me!“

The Almighty Creator, Yah the Eternally Self-Existing, says: "It is time to choose -- will you be my friend, or my foe? -- there is NO middle ground!"

Yah says further:

"Ultimately THE AIM of this entire experiment is to find those who will make the sacrifices necessary to become My FRIENDS -- NOTHING is more important"
