Note that “Body” is technically much more accurate.
Consider 1 Corinthians 10:17 “For we, though many, are one bread and one body; for we all partake of that one bread.”
Or, more accurately Romans 12:5 “so we, who are many, are [nevertheless just] one body in the Anointing of the Spirit of Yah {incorrectly Christ}, and individually [we are] parts one of another [mutually dependent on each other].” Amplified Bible corrected
Note that once one corrects the incorrect “Christ” reference one gets a statement that embraces every single True Believer on Earth whatever label they apply to themselves – Christian, Jew, Muslim, Yogi, Buddhist, etcetera
So, as with all the other words that have been addressed in this series, “Church” clouds understanding and results in error.
Conclusion
I encourage you to cease using Church in your general vocabulary and replace it with Assembly Hall and Body of Believers.
