This article was triggered by the situations of two single women that I have been inspired to advise to become Handmaidens.

That said this article focuses specifically on single women who are truly committed to serving the Almighty Creator whose true Name is “Yah the Eternally Self-Existing” for the rest of their lives without a husband.

Last night (27th September 2024) knew very little about “Handmaiden of Yah”. Early this morning I lay awake and made the detailed notes on which this article is based. I therefore have confidence that the essence of the messages is from Yah.
Note that there is a huge amount of wrong teaching about women and ministry. This article sets out to dispel this!
The visions of Rick Joyner, described in The Final Quest, report many women on Thrones in Heaven, refer to “The Final Quest with Commentary” specifically to Chapter 5 part 8 verse 712 referring to overcomers seated on thrones in Heaven which states “… it seemed that Faithful, praying women and mothers occupied more thrones than any other single group”
Further, describing the people on the Mountain of Yah preparing to engage in the battle with the evil hoard, Joyner reports in chapter 2.2 verse 10 “To my further surprise, the great majority of these soldiers were women and children”
This correlates with a statement made to me by Father and reiterated on many occasions that there are “seven times as many women as men in the body of true Believers on Earth today” in various other places in the Final Quest Joyner discovers far more women than men in the service of Yah! This is huge! IF you are a man teaching that women are in some way second class citizens subservient to men and that women cannot be in ministry, I strongly recommend that you rethink your beliefs fundamentally.
If you are a woman that has been lied to and told that you can only minister in submission to your husband then I encourage you to renounce that lie and step out into the fullness of ALL that Yah is calling you to be! I am NOT encouraging rebellion, I AM encouraging you to enrol your husband into your calling.
If you are a Believing woman desperately trying to get your unbelieving husband saved because you have been told that is Yah’s will – give it one more attempt and then ask Yah for a Divorce, He is almost certain to grant it – it is an abomination for a Believer to be sexually joined to an unbeliever, the temple of Satan! Many years ago I met Loraine Visser, a single woman who moved in power and authority with a deep personal relationship with Yah. Her example has inspired this article. I dedicate this article to her, thank you Loraine for all you taught me about women in ministry!
Fundamentally this article is hugely relevant to any single Believing woman and largely relevant to any Believing woman in a permanent covenant relationship with a man, aka marriage.
Who or What is a Handmaiden of Yah?
In the early hours of this morning (Saturday 28th September 2024) I made the rough notes on which the items below are based with significant inspiration. I offer them for your consideration in no particular order.
Some of the points apply only to single women but most apply to all Believing women and many to Believing Men.
A Handmaiden aims to operate in, and comply with, a significant number of the following point:
- A handmaiden Is beholden to Yah alone! Deep revelation of MattihYahoo {Matthew} 22:37, Mark 12:30 citing Deuteronomy 6:5 “Yahooshua declared, “ ‘Love Yah the Eternally Self-Existing {the Lord} your Mighty One {God} with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind”. Totally sold out and committed to Yah!
- Has read the article “The only reason we exist is to have a deep personal relationship with the Almighty Creator and be His Friend” followed the links and committed to it and is applying it.
- In the case of a single woman, taken a vow of celibacy and ceased praying for and looking for a husband and asked Yah to be her husband and cover her and provide for her by showing her how to earn a living.
- In the case of a single woman realised that there are many more women than men in the body of true believers and accepted it and adjusted to it.
- Has read the article “YOU can sit on a High Throne for Eternity” and followed the links and set her heart on a High Throne.
- Has read the article on “Seven Components in Drawing close to Yah” and is putting this into practice.
- Has read the article on “How to be a Handmaid of the Lord” -- in the Appendix.
- Has a deep understanding of what Yahooshua {incorrectly Jesus} accomplished and how he accomplished it, see the article “About Yahooshua {Jesus}” and also “The miraculous planning of the death of Yahooshua – where, how and what”.
- Fully understands her authority in the name of Yahooshua and walks in and exercises that authority over the Satanic and Demonic Realm in particular praying with another tightly aligned handmaiden or strongly believing husband to tear down Principalities, Powers, Thrones and Dominions over her residence and over the Earth – must always pray at the same address, see the article “The Essence of my message regarding Prayer” scroll down to close to the bottom of the article.
- Actively seeks other Handmaidens to support, encourage, strengthen one another and wage spiritual warfare together.
- Has revelation that while she is IN the World she is NOT OF the world see article “IN the World BUT NOT OF the World”
- In particular devotes significant time to fasting, prayer and worship in addition to her daily ministry.
- Has undertaken at least one cycle of seven three-day fasts – see the article “Fasting as a vital component of drawing close to the Almighty” see also the section on fasting in the “Seven Components in Drawing Close to Yah” article.
- Has an intention to reach fa orty day water only fast with daily communion in time with a view to healing the sick, raising the dead, walking on water, feeding the five thousand, etcetera.
- Is totally free of sin and remains so.
- Takes the Covenant Meal regulary and particularly any time she slips and sins, see article “Prayers to Rehearse the Covenant Meal {Communion} for Forgiveness of Sin and Protection”
- Is speaking out Yah's will on Earth and calling it into existence through her authority as a Handmaiden of Yah.
- Is a strongly Anointed One see article “Prayer to be Anointed (filled) with the Set-Apart {Holy} Spirit of the Creator”.
- Is accustomed to the supernatural and moves gracefully and naturally in it.
- Operates with no more than three or four hours sleep a night because the Anointing on her is so strong.
- Is recognized for her wisdom and understanding of spiritual and earthly matters!
- Teaches others and guides them to deep relationship with Yah
- Is actively seeking all truth through fasting and prayer.
- Calls no human being “Rabbi”, “Teacher” or “Pastor” because she has the Spirit of Yah to teach her.
- Calls no human being “Lord” because she has one Adonay Yahooshua {Jesus}.
- Speaks life into situations authoritatively as spokeswoman of Yah.
- Is sought out as an oracle of Yah by leaders in business, government and ministry.
- Lives by Emunah {faith} see the article “Emunah {Faith} is vital to walking closely with the Creator”.
- Walks in Divine Health, see article “Divine Health is available to EVERY True Believer”
- Lacks no good thing, walks in Divine Provision, see article “Divine Provision is available to every true Believer – must work for it – wisdom to get wealth”
- Spends hours in prayer and in Communion with Yah every day working towards a Deep Personal Relationship – see the article “The Creator Desires a Deep Personal Relationship with YOU”.
- Spends hours in worship every day see article “Worship is essential in drawing close to the Almighty” and “Consolidated Recommended Worship as at 4 July 2023”
- She is a spiritual power house!
- She has an active ministry geared to accomplishing the will of Yah on Earth – see particularly “Will YOU Initiate a Revival with me?” She is a catalyst for Revival reaching ever increasing numbers for Yah.
- Is a powerful force for Yah's will and His Good on Earth!
- Networks with other Handmaidens and likeminded Believers around the Earth by email, social media, etcetera.
- May have a Ministry website where she shares her learnings and her teachings across the globe.
- Etcetera
Conclusion
The above is a list of touch points to challenge you to aim high in your relationship with Yah – YOU can do ALL of the above IF you set your mind to it and apply all the teachings presented in the articles cited above.

How to be a Handmaid of the Lord, Like Mary

I do not have exact clarity on the status of Miryam {Mary} mother of Yahooshua but fully expect that she sits on a very High Throne with great power and authority!

In Luke 1:26-38, the story of the Annunciation, Mary became a pure vessel in which God dwelt during the nine months of pregnancy. Her “yes” to the special vocation of being the handmaid of the Lord, serving the kingdom of God as the mother of the Messiah, did not end when her Son died on the cross. She became mother to the whole Church.
God planned her vocation at the beginning of our story in Genesis, when he told the serpent, “I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and hers” (Gen. 3:15). She said yes to that vocation when she said to the angel Gabriel and to God, “Behold, I am the handmaid of the Lord. Let it be done to me according to Your word” (Luke 1:38).
Evangelization Ministry - Being a Handmaid of the Lord - The Annunciation To get a deeper understanding of what her fiat, her “yes” entailed — and what happens when we say “yes” to God — we need to look at the word “handmaid.” What did she mean by that? According to the dictionary, a “handmaid” is someone whose essential function is to assist. ASSIST! Not: Take charge of. Not: Become the Savior of. Not: Be such a good priest or lay minister or religious brother/sister that people admire you and give you the credit for a job well done.
An assistant is often called the employer’s “right hand” or, more literally, an extension of the employer’s hand.
When I am given an assignment by God, such as “Write a book about … ” or “Give a retreat about … “, my first inclination is to kick into high gear all the organizational and leadership skills in which God has endowed me and trained me. When I see someone wandering into darkness and God nudges me to intervene, my strong sense of caring moves me to action, and if I don’t see results fast enough (by my definition of it), I start assuming that I’m not trying hard enough and must push into higher gear.
None of this is being a handmaid of the Lord. None of this is being an extension of God’s hand. It’s me being me, stretching out my own hand to see how far I can make it reach. Let’s consider how Mary modeled the assistant’s job:
(1) First and foremost, to willingly become someone’s handmaid requires great trust in the person (or God) who is going to be the master. As Pope John Paul the Great wrote in his Encyclical Letter Redemptoris Mater (Mother of the Redeemer), paragraph 13: “Mary uttered this fiat in faith. In faith she entrusted herself to God without reserve and ‘devoted herself totally as the handmaid of the Lord to the person and work of her Son’ (Vatican Council II, Lumen Gentium, para. 56).”
(2) Mary left the consequences of her “yes” in God’s hands. She did not make her “yes” conditional, as in “Okay, Archangel Gabe, but only if you explain to Joseph why I’m pregnant and he’s not the father” or “Just make sure the townsfolk don’t stone me to death or even criticize me for getting pregnant without Joseph.”
(3) She made a complete commitment to align herself with God. He was free to do with her as he willed. She did not second guess him. Nor did she offer her own opinion about where the baby should be born or what should be done with the animals or what kind of visitors they should get. This is what it means to be an extension of God’s hand. We are not the hand. We are not God.
(4) By choosing to say “yes” she opened herself to receive all the help she would ever need from God to fulfill her vocation. It was not Mary who convinced Joseph to go through with the marriage instead of divorcing her; it was God who sent Joseph an angel in a dream.
(5) Her consent came from true humility — the same kind of humility that her Son would have in consenting to the crucifixion. Such willingness lets go of all desire for self-comfort and personal gain. It is a total giving of self, an altruism that comes from knowing that God’s goodness is far greater than our own best efforts.
(6) Being the Lord’s assistant is a partnership with the Holy Spirit, who is the “handmaid” or servant of the other two members of the Blessed Trinity in carrying out all divine operations. The transformation of Mary’s “yes” into an actual pregnancy required the servanthood of the Holy Spirit. Mary cooperated with the Holy Spirit “by her obedience, faith, hope and burning charity in the Savior’s work of restoring supernatural life to souls” (Lumen Gentium, para. 62). A good handmaid is more than just an obedient servant; faith, hope and love provide the motivation in union with the Holy Spirit.
(7) Giving consent meant not only allowing God to do things to her, but also doing things for God. As his handmaid, she put herself into the position of being done unto. He did not order her around or abuse this position in any way, but he did put her into some very difficult situations. Certainly it was not easy traveling on a donkey to Bethlehem in the last month of pregnancy. Giving birth in a chilly, dirty stable without her mother’s help was probably not the way she had imagined this special moment would be. And fleeing to Egypt instead of returning home with the baby was a very disappointing and challenging time. Yet, she let God do this to her because she had meant it when she said she’d be his handmaid. At the same time, she was doing it all for God out of tremendous love for him.
(8) Mary’s “yes” united her to both the intentions and actions of God. His intentions became her intentions. His actions became her actions. The Father intended to redeem the world through his Son; Mary intended to redeem the world through her Son in accordance with his plan as it unfolded. The Father let his Son die for our sins; Mary let go of her Son as she watched him die, even though she did not yet fully understand the plan. God was in charge, and Mary united herself to whatever he did.
(9) A good handmaid listens closely to what the master wants. Mary had said, “Let it be done to me according to Your WORD.” She was a good listener. “Through faith Mary continued to hear and to ponder that word, in which there became ever clearer, in a way ‘which surpasses knowledge’ (Eph. 3:19), the self-revelation of the living God. Thus in a sense Mary as Mother became the first ‘disciple’ of her Son” (Redemptoris Mater, para. 20).
(10) Since a handmaid of the Lord is a disciple of Christ, a handmaid is also a true follower. It’s not hard to figure out what God wants of us because Jesus is leading us to do the same things that he did (see John 14:12). In Redemptoris Mater, paragraph 41, we read: “She who at the Annunciation called herself the ‘handmaid of the Lord’ remained throughout her earthly life faithful to what this name expresses. In this she confirmed that she was a true ‘disciple’ of Christ, who strongly emphasized that his mission was one of service: the Son of Man ‘came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many’ (Matt. 20:28).
Today, as Queen of Heaven, Mary still continues to serve as God’s handmaid. As Pope John Paul the Great added in paragraph 41, “The glory of serving does not cease to be her royal exaltation: assumed into heaven, she does not cease her saving service, which expresses her maternal mediation ‘until the eternal fulfillment of all the elect’ (Lumen Gentium, para. 62).
Like Mary’s service, our ministries do not end when we leave the earth. We would do well to give our full “yes” now to our vocations as handmaids (for the guys: use the word “hand-servants”), because in one way or another, we’ll be doing it in front of God’s face when heaven is our home.
Let us rely on Mary’s ministry of being God’s handmaid whenever we need his helping hand to reach us. And let us allow her to teach us how to do the same for others.
How can you be God’s hand touching the lives of those around you? Are you trying to control it and do things your way? Have you avoided doing a good deed that Jesus would have done, something he could do through you now? Listen to what he is asking you to do for him and say, “Lord, let it be done to me according to Your will; I am your handmaid (or hand-servant).”

Prayer on coming to Belief in the Almighty Creator Yah the Eternally Self-Existing

If you previously Believed but you have now realized that you have neglected the Creator and are headed for the Outer Darkness or, at best, a very low rank in the Throne Room, please pray along the following lines – note that belief in Jesus / Messiah / Yahooshua counts for nothing, it is belief in the Almighty Creator Yah the Eternally Self-Existing that matters:
“Father Yah, in the name of Yahooshua, I confess that while I once Believed I have largely ignored you and lived life as though you do not exist. I recognize this as sin and repent now and confess my sin. I ask you to forgive me.
“I now commit my life to You and I ask you to take me by the hand and lead me into deep relationship with you.
“I ask you to fill me with your Spirit and to change me and help me to become the person you want me to become.

The Almighty Creator Desires a DEEP Personal Relationship with YOU
If you die as an Unbeliever your spirit will live for a very long time as a disembodied Ancestor Spirit or Demon -- the Creator has said regarding Unbelievers "why would I want someone to spend Eternity with me when they do NOT Believe I exist?”
If you die as a Believer without any form of relationship with the Creator you will end up in the Outer Darkness – a cold, black, terrible place with weeping and wailing and gnashing of teeth (your teeth) – the trash heap of Heaven – Father has said concerning such Believers “why would I want someone to be close to me in Heaven, which inherently means I will give them great prestige and authority, if they do NOT have a deep personal relationship with me and have NOT proven to me that they can be trusted in this life?”
In stark contrast -- IF you make a real effort to seek relationship with the Almighty the rewards in the Life to Come are HUGE – a glorious resurrected body, great prestige, great authority and a permanent close relationship with the Creator AND with Yahooshua {who you may mistakenly know as Yahooshua}
To put this all in context the Almighty has said "I created Human beings, this planet and this universe for men and women to be my Friends, my companions, to explore and learn and develop together, my greatest grief is that almost NO person understands this let alone seeks such a relationship with me!“
