It was NOT what I was expecting – instead the speaker proceeded to find fault with a whole range of Pentecostal / Charismatic high profile figures who I esteem and regard as servants of Yah and closed by saying that modern tongues were all from Satan and that the entire history of Pentecostalism and Charisma in Christianity was NOT from Yah!
2023.05.07 Judge NOT – Seek TRUTH
Recently, while looking at videos on YouTube I encountered a video "History of the Pentecostal / Charismatic Movement" – the title was interesting so I watched it. It was NOT what I was expecting – instead the speaker proceeded to find fault with a whole range of Pentecostal / Charismatic high profile figures who I esteem and regard as servants of Yah and closed by saying that modern tongues were all from Satan and that the entire history of Pentecostalism and Charisma in Christianity was NOT from Yah!
This came together with ongoing correspondence that I have with a person on my mailing list who is adamant that just about everything that I teach is false and that I am headed for Hell. Both parties apparently consider themselves to have ALL truth and to regard anyone who differs from them to have ALL error. The pride and self-righteousness is staggering.
Note that the presenter in the video did not appear to have any sort of meaningful relationship with the Creator, all he said was based on his interpretation of the Bible.
That said, the person in the video DID pick up on some points where the parties he was attacking WERE in error or did things that did not make sense. For instance a number of the parties criticised allegedly forbade their followers to avail themselves of medical treatment and to rely ONLY on Divine healing – allegedly in all cases many followers died as a consequence. To this extent I agree with the speaker, NOT all people have faith for miraculous healing and that does NOT make them bad or wrong. Father is entirely capable to work in a person’s life through wisdom for doctors, nurses and other practitioners and through medication.
It is also true that there ARE Demonic tongues that counterfeit real tongues but there have to be genuine tongues else there would be nothing to counterfeit – so don’t throw the baby out with the bathwater.
Overall I was greatly disturbed by the video. After some deliberation I shared it with my Believing contacts on WhatsApp followed by a series of notes over the next 24 hours as follows:

This is a very challenging video.
It radically contradicts certain points I teach and it radically condemns certain people I have spoken highly of.
As always my approach is to seek truth not error.
It is my belief that ONLY Yahooshua was perfect.
All the rest of us are a mix of truth and error.
So to reject someone outright because one finds error is NOT wise.
One needs to seek Father for guidance and sift the truth from the error.
That said I truly believe miraculous healing IS possible though I have to confess I have never personally witnessed this at a major level.
I believe that doctors and medicine are valid and should be used as well as seeking divine healing.
I leave it to each person to make their own decision with help from Father.

Further thoughts on the video shared earlier.
Fundamentally the core issue is that Father Yah is seeking a deep PERSONAL relationship with each person.
On this point all parties addressed in the video including the presenter are completely off the mark.
To this extent i believe large groupings following one person at the expense of a direct personal relationship are off the mark.
On consideration I also hold that all the people attacked in the presentation WERE servants of Yah at some level albeit that they made mistakes and were off the mark at some level.
I also hold that the presenter has many errors in common with the people he judges and these errors open the door for deception and Demonic infestation all round.
I also hold that Father has told me clearly that the number of true Believers on Earth today is very small and indirectly this video reinforces that.
Note 3:
I am deeply troubled by the video on the Pentecostal movement I shared last night.
It is likely that some of what is said is truth.
Such as forbidding or encouraging followers not to see doctors or use medication such that many died.
That is wrong -- Yah is entirely able to work through doctors and health practitioners.
That said some of the other points are false at a material level.
Praying in Tongues IS from Yah although there ARE false and counterfeit tongues.
Proclaiming things one does not understand to be Demonic when in fact they are from Yah can result in that person Blaspheming and being rejected by Yah for Eternity.
Remember we are commanded "judge not lest thou also art judged".
Be very cautious of this sort of teaching.
Note 4:
Continuing my thoughts on the so-called history of Pentecostal belief.
This is a classic case of someone with little or no experience of the Supernatural with Yah judging those that do.
And the reverse.
Those who have had Supernatural experiences thinking that they then have all truth while making serious mistakes.
This teaching also exemplifies the problem of people who have a relationship with and who worship the Bible but have NO meaningful relationship with Yah judging those with some level of relationship with Yah.
AND those who have some level of relationship believing they have more truth than they really have.
One needs to tread very carefully in judging others and situations.
Further Commentary – Seek Truth NOT Error
I am NOT sharing the link to the video at this stage because I do NOT regard it as helpful.
In considering this situation and others like it I refer you to my teaching “2013.05.01 - Seek truth NOT error” https://www.eti-ministries.org/seek-truth-not_error which is based on a teaching Father gave me in February 2001 at a time when I was experiencing a steady stream of revelation following my first ever program of then three day fasts at ten day intervals. It is a dictum that I have sought to live by ever since.
The essence of the message is that with the exception of Yahooshua EVERY Human Being who has EVER lived has believed a mixture of truth and error. Thus, when one encounters ANY person or teaching one WILL find error OR what one perceives to be error because of ones own error.
This relates directly to the teaching of Yahooshua in MattiYahoo 7:1 to 5 “1 “Do not judge and criticize and condemn [others unfairly with an attitude of self-righteous superiority as though assuming the office of a judge], so that you will not be judged [unfairly]. 2 For just as you [hypocritically] judge others [when you are sinful and unrepentant], so will you be judged; and in accordance with your standard of measure [used to pass out judgment], judgment will be measured to you. 3 Why do you look at the [insignificant] speck that is in your brother’s eye, but do not notice and acknowledge the [egregious] log that is in your own eye? 4 Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me get the speck out of your eye,’ when there is a log in your own eye? 5 You hypocrite (play-actor, pretender), first get the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother’s eye.” Amplified Bible
I therefore encourage you to NOT get fussed about the errors of others but rather to seek the truths that they have and agree with them on those and then either adopt peaceable co-existence based on those truths or if you are too offended by their apparent or real error, politely advise them you disagree and move on.
Commentary – Even highly anointed ones make mistakes and have error
There is a widely held unstated belief that IF one is a servant of Yah one must have ALL truth and NO error. As mentioned above the presenter in the video sought out errors in the lives of claimed highly anointed ones and used those errors to prove that they were NOT highly anointed ones but were charlatans. See the article “2022.07.06 The biggest error crippling Mature Anointed Believers” at https://www.eti-ministries.org/biggest-error-crippling-mature-anointed-believers which stresses that even the most highly anointed ones have major errors and that, in fact, in the present age there are almost universal MAJOR errors in the body of Believers irrespective of their denomination or religion.
Yah is prohibited by the Rules of Engagement from sharing information with Believers UNLESS they ask for that information first, see “2021.04.02 The Essence of the Rules of Engagement and The Contest” at https://www.eti-ministries.org/essence-rules-of-engagement-contest -- so basically, pretty much every Believer on the planet has major errors unless they have fasted and prayed repeatedly for revelation and truth AND been proactive in responding to answers that they are given. I claim to be in that category.
As an example, virtually ALL streams (denominations, etcetera) of Christianity believe the Jesus is God and many that the Bible is the Word of God. But they are ALL in error on these points, as with the Names, etcetera see “2023.04.01 Schedule of Beliefs” at https://www.eti-ministries.org/schedule-of-beliefs for a reasonably comprehensive list of what I hold to be truth, much of which is at odds with prevalent teaching.
THIS is why we have so many religions, so many streams within religions, so many Denominations, Sects, etcetera – each has its own pool of truth and its own pool of error which it holds to be truth and since each group holds that they have ALL truth then allegedly ALL the other groups are in error and to be rejected! This is a powerful stratagem employed by the Satanic and Demonic Realm to divide and undermine the body of Believers and counter the moves of Yah on the Earth.
Commentary – the Price of Bible Worship
This situation also highlights the penalties of what I term “Bible Worship” – the idolatry associated with saying that the Bible is “God’s Holy Word” and without error and the definitive guide for life – this is in stark contrast to believing that the Bible is a useful history book that supports seeking a DEEP Personal Relationship with the Almighty Creator. It is my contention that time spent studying the Bible at the expense of time spent building relationship with the Creator is a total waste of time.
Commentary – Different Views of the Mountain
The article “2021.01.05 The Different Views of the Mountain of Relationship with Yah” at https://www.eti-ministries.org/different-views-of-the-mountain is a really IMPORTANT article to read in the context of this article.
The reality is that it is possible for two people to BOTH have a reasonably strong relationship with the Creator and reasonable knowledge of Him and His ways and yet have MAJOR DIFFERENCES. We see this most clearly with mainstream Christianity, mainstream Judaism and mainstream Islam – at some level ALL three are advocating service to the Almighty Creator yet they can hardly agree on anything and are prone to judging and condemning one another and calling them unbelievers, Infidels, Heretics, etcetera. This occurs to a further extent within each Religion and between Denominations, etcetera.
This is very apparent in the video I am referring to.
Conclusion
Fundamentally I encourage you NOT to judge others and to seek the truth that they have and IGNORE THEIR ERROR!

The Almighty Creator Desires a DEEP Personal Relationship with YOU
If you die as an Unbeliever your spirit will live for a very long time as a disembodied Ancestor Spirit or Demon -- the Creator has said regarding Unbelievers "why would I want someone to spend Eternity with me when they do NOT Believe I exist?”
If you die as a Believer without any form of relationship with the Creator you will end up in the Outer Darkness – a cold, black, terrible place with weeping and wailing and gnashing of teeth (your teeth) – the trash heap of Heaven – Father has said concerning such Believers “why would I want someone to be close to me in Heaven, which inherently means I will give them great prestige and authority, if they do NOT have a deep personal relationship with me and have NOT proven to me that they can be trusted in this life?”
In stark contrast -- IF you make a real effort to seek relationship with the Almighty the rewards in the Life to Come are HUGE – a glorious resurrected body, great prestige, great authority and a permanent close relationship with the Creator AND with Yahooshua {who you may mistakenly know as Jesus}
To put this all in context the Almighty has said "I created Human beings, this planet and this universe for men and women to be my Friends, my companions, to explore and learn and develop together, my greatest grief is that almost NO person understands this let alone seeks such a relationship with me!“
