Certain religions have processes or rites that prepare people for death, sometimes called “The Last Rites”. Without commenting on these processes I would like to offer my thoughts on how to go about preparing someone for death or how someone who is facing death imminently should prepare themselves.
I have written this article from the perspective of assisting someone else to prepare for death since it seems to me that most times people only confront the reality of impending death when they are in a state where they are limited in their ability to do anything about the situation themselves and therefore need someone else to facilitate / coach them with prayers and processes.
2023.01.02 Preparing for Death – The Last Rites
I periodically encounter situations where the person I am communicating with is caring for someone who is close to death and does not know how to handle the situation.
Certain religions have processes or rites that prepare people for death, sometimes called “The Last Rites”. Without commenting on these processes I would like to offer my thoughts on how to go about preparing someone for death or how someone who is facing death imminently should prepare themselves.
I have written this article from the perspective of assisting someone else to prepare for death since it seems to me that most times people only confront the reality of impending death when they are in a state where they are limited in their ability to do anything about the situation themselves and therefore need someone else to facilitate / coach them with prayers and processes.
Possible Death Outcomes
There are a number of possible outcomes after death each of which to some extent require different prayers.
- Clearly Committed Believer
The first outcome relates to someone who is clearly a committed Believer – they speak about the Almighty, they look forward to being with Him.
Simplistically this person may NOT require any assistance, however, many are still unclear with regard to what happens after death and therefore at some level apprehensive and fearful.They also frequently have unrepented sin that will result in penalties after death.
Time in Hell for Unrepented Sin?
Basically such a person WILL go to Heaven but will probably end up in Hell for a season to pay the price for their unrepented sin – see “2022.08.03 Believers in Hell for Unrepented Sin” at https://www.eti-ministries.org/believers-in-hell-for-unrepented-sin Accordingly they need to pray the relevant prayers for repentance for sin presented below.

Anointed – Filled with the Set-Apart Spirit
In the event that they have never been filled with the Set-Apart {Holy} Spirit of the Creator [whose true Name is Yah the Eternally Self-Existing] they will end up as foolish virgins – in this case see “How to become an Anointed One – One Filled with the Spirit of the Almighty” at https://www.eti-ministries.org/how-to-become-an-anointed-one
Pray “Father, in the name of Yahooshua {Jesus} I ask you to fill me with Your Spirit, I invite you to come and live in me, Amen” then raise hands and worship see “Recommended Worship” at https://www.eti-ministries.org/recommended-worship-songs some of these speak specifically to infilling with the Spirit of Yah, the Fire of Yah.
Loss of Salvation
It is important to be aware that in the case of major repeated unrepented sin a Believer can cross over from the hope of life in Heaven to utter rejection and destruction in the Lake of Fire and Brimstone. A person who is suffering greatly before death MAY be at risk of rejection and needs to confront whatever sin they are being judged for and repent. See below for prayers of repentance.
- Moderately Committed Believer
The majority of Believers are NOT deeply committed as above. The same principles will generally apply with the caveat that they may not qualify for a high rank in Heaven unless they now repent of their lack of diligence and set about seeking Father Yah earnestly.
Pray “Father Yah, I recognize that I have NOT been diligent in my service and worship of you, in the name of Yahooshua I confess this as sin, I repent and ask you to help me to draw much closer to you and to serve you energetically for the rest of my days here on Earth.”
If the person concerned is frail and infirm there may not be much they can do but Father Yah will meet them where they are. As a starting point I suggest you download Volume 1 of my bookset “Volume 1 – The Most Important Messages about the Matters of the Almighty Creator” at https://www.eti-ministries.org/compilation-of-most-writings/vol-1-most-important and that they read as much as they can of this book daily and then pray as they are led.
If they are able to reach others for Yah, whether by writing emails to friends and family, publishing articles in religious or secular magazines, giving interviews or whatever encouraging others to turn to Father Yah they should do this as they will accrue credits in their Heavenly Bank Account and potentially earn higher rank in Heaven, see “2022.09.01 What are YOU doing to earn a High Throne for Eternity? -- About your Heavenly Account” at https://www.eti-ministries.org/about-your-heavenly-account
They should also pray, worship, fast, etcetera to seek to grow in relationship with Father Yah, see “2022.07.01 The Essence of what our Father wants from YOU” at https://www.eti-ministries.org/essence-of-what-our-father-wants-from-you -- work within whatever health constraints apply with regard to getting on knees to pray, standing and worshipping, fasting, etcetera.
- Nominal Believer
If the person concerned clearly recalls that at some point in their life they DID pray a prayer of faith in the Almighty Creator, NOT with regard to Jesus, with regard to the Almighty possibly as “The LORD”, “God”, “Allah”, “G_d”, “Hashem” or similar but that thereafter they continued to live their lives as before as though the Almighty did NOT exist then they are a Nominal Believer and headed for the Outer Darkness in Heaven, a cold, dark, terrible place reserved for those who knew Yah [the Creator] but then ignored Him.This is almost worse than not knowing Him at all.
Regarding such people Father has said “why would I want someone to be close to me in Heaven, which inherently means I will give them great prestige and authority, if they do NOT have a deep personal relationship with me and have NOT proven to me that they can be trusted in this life?”
Note that this relates to Belief in the Creator NOT Belief in Jesus, that does NOT count.
Pray “Father Yah, I come to you in the name of Yahooshua {NOT Jesus}. I recognize that I once believed you existed and prayed a prayer to you to Save me but since then I have continued to live my life as though you do NOT exist. I recognize that I am headed for the Outer Darkness and repent and ask you to forgive me and help me to turn around, Amen.”
Then pray the prayer above to be filled with the Spirit of Yah and read the references there.Thereafter do all the actions cited above to draw close to Father Yah.He will meet the person wherever they are and help them to draw close to Him BUT THEY must do the work necessary to achieve this.
They must repent of sin and pray the prayers set out below for doing this.
- Believer in Jesus

In this case pray “Father, in the name of Yahooshua, I repent of worshipping Yahooshua, a created being, a man, and I ask you to forgive me. I recognize now that you alone, Yah the Eternally Self-Existing, are the Almighty Creator of the Heaven and Earth and I choose to serve you and worship you alone for the rest of my life. I ask you to guide me and help me to draw close to you.”
Thereafter do all the things for an Unbeliever.
- Uncertain Believer
If the person concerned thinks they may have prayed a prayer at some stage but are NOT certain then they may or may NOT be a Believer. Different legal principles apply to the two cases. IF they DID Believe at some stage then the prayer and notes above apply. IF they did NOT Believe at some stage then the situation for an Unbeliever applies.
Pray as follows “Father Yah, I come to you in the name of Yahooshua and I think that I may at some stage have prayed to you to state Belief in you but I am NOT certain. If I DID pray such a prayer then I recognize that I am headed for the Outer Darkness and I repent and ask you to forgive me and help me to turn around.
IF I NEVER prayed such a prayer or came to such Belief then I recognize that I am an Unbeliever and destined to continue life after death as an Ancestor Spirit on Earth. I do NOT want this fate, I choose this day to Believe that you DO exist and I ask you to forgive all my sins and to accept me as your child and save me.”
IF in doubt proceed as for an Unbeliever BUT recognize that the seven days of Grace will NOT apply if they are already a Believer, in that case they might pray “Father, in the name of Yahooshua, I recognize that I may have Believed but if that is so then I did not know of the seven days of Grace for new Believers and therefore did NOT avail myself of those benefits. I ask you for Mercy and Grace that I may experience the seven days of Grace.” Thereafter they should energetically engage in as many of the activities for a new Believer as they are physically able to manage.
- Unbeliever
If the person concerned is clear that they have NOT Believed in the Almighty Creator at ANY time then they are an Unbeliever.Regarding Unbelievers, Yah has said "why would I want someone to spend Eternity with me when they do NOT Believe I exist?”
Such people will end up as an Ancestor Spirit (aka Demon) on Earth till the end of the Millennium and possibly for Eternity.
As such they will face a range of possible outcomes including:
- Buried with their corpse and stuck in the ground forever.
- Stuck in the Crematorium Oven.
- Stuck wherever their corpse falls in the event of drowning at sea, stuck in an avalanche, etcetera.
- Transferred onto a friend or family member who embraces their corpse.
- Harvested by a Satan Servant and put to work leading others into greater and greater sin.
NONE of these outcomes is desirable.

Pray “Father, Yah, the Almighty Creator, I come to you in the name of Yahooshua, I have previously believed that you do NOT exist. I now recognize that I was mistaken and I repent and ask you to forgive me.
“I chose now to accept the reality of your existence and I ask you to help me to learn about you and come into relationship with you.
“Show me what to read and listen to and what NOT to read and listen to.
“Send people to me who can help me and keep people from me who will not help me.
“Amen”
Pray the prayer above to be filled with the Spirit of Yah.

Focus on drawing as close to the Almighty Creator, Yah the Eternally Self-Existing, as possible for the last days of the persons life and also doing whatever they can, dependent on health, to serve Him and help others to draw close to Him.
Note that once the prayers in this document and associated processes have been applied there is NO reason for a person who is frail and sick and in pain to stay around any longer UNLESS Father is clearly showing that there is SPECIFIC repentance that is required – in which case take the Bread and Wine (Communion) and do whatever is necessary as set out below.
- Specific Conditions
Apprehensive About Dying
If the person concerned is apprehensive about dying, ONCE they have become a Believer, read the article “2021.10.02 Why are YOU Afraid of DYING?” at https://www.eti-ministries.org/why-are-you-afraid-of-dying
If a Believer does NOT have peace about dying or is putting off dying then I suggest that they listen to the following recordings.
It is clear that Heaven is beautiful and Believers who have repented of all their sin clearly have NO reason to fear death and should, in fact EMBRACE DEATH once they are at an age or stage where death is inevitable.
Frail to the Point they cannot enjoy Life
If the person concerned is so frail that they can no longer enjoy life it is probable that they have unfinished business, are afraid of dying or have unrepented sin to deal with.
With regard to unfinished business – ask them if there is anyone they need to talk to or anything that they want to say to anyone – give them time and space to think about this and depending on their medical condition you may need to ask them more than once.
If they are afraid of dying, refer the previous section.
If they have unrepented sin see the following section.
In pain, serious medical trauma, other unpleasant medical condition
If the person is a committed Believer and they are in pain, serious medical trauma or other unpleasant medical condition, for example advanced and painful cancer, it is likely that they have major unrepented sin and they are being judged in this life so that they are NOT judged in the life to come. In some cases such judgment may be intended to give them a last opportunity to repent before they lose their salvation.
The Last Rites – Rehearse the Covenant / Take “Communion”
The essence of what is commonly referred to as “The Last Rites” is the taking of the Bread and Wine to rehearse the Covenant of Yahooshua (Communion) {The Sacraments} for forgiveness of sin.
It is NOT necessary for this to be administered by an ordained Priest or whatever, this is available to EVERY Believer at ANY time, Yahooshua said “do this as oft as ye shall eat it” Mark 14:22-25, Luke 22:18-20, 1 Corinthians 11:23-25.
If you are helping someone who is infirm you can administer this for them, where health and strength permits they can do this themselves without another being present. This can be done daily or even morning and evening as long as it has meaning. The more times this is done by someone who is facing imminent death, the better.
Proceed as follows:
Take the bread “Father, I recall that on the night that Yahooshua was betrayed he took the bread and when he had given thanks he broke it saying ‘this is my body given for you, do this as oft as you eat it in remembrance of me’ – I ask that as I partake of this bread that I may partake in everything that it represents to you, help me to walk in the fullness of the Covenant.”
Note that whenever you sin you should confess your sin, repent and take the bread and wine as symbolizing the sacrifice for sin that was ordained by Yah through Moshe {Moses}. To better understand this see https://www.ETI-Ministries.org/miracle-of-yahooshua-jesus-death
Take the red grape juice or red wine “Father, I recall that on the night that Yahooshua was betrayed he took the wine and gave it to those who followed him and said ‘this is my blood of the new covenant, shed for you and for many for forgiveness of sin, do this as oft as you shall drink it in remembrance of me’ – I ask that as I partake of this cup that I may partake of everything that it represents to you, help me to walk in the fullness of the Covenant.
“In particular, I ask you to forgive me ALL that I have done that I ought not to have done and all that I have NOT done that that I ought to have done. I ask you to bring to my remembrance all sins I need to confess and repent of.”
Pray at least once
It is really IMPORTANT that the above is prayed AT LEAST ONCE before a person dies, and preferably more frequently.
Unconscious -- Proxy
If the person is unconscious or in a coma their spirit can still hear what you say and can pray in agreement. Pray “Father, in the name of Yahooshua, I bring … name of person … before you. Father, they cannot speak for themselves so I hereby stand in Proxy for them and ask that as I pray that this prayer will be prayed as it applies to them.” Pray all relevant prayers in this document and the documents that are cited.
Protection of the Covenant
Once you have a revelation of the Covenant you can apply the “Blood of the Covenant” (red grape juice or red wine to your forehead, nape of your neck, right eyebrow, tongue, right earlobe, right thumb and right big toe and pray for guidance and deliverance. You must pray for the grape juice or wine to represent the Blood of the Covenant first.
Specific Repentance
Note that in praying for forgiveness the blanket prayer above does have limitations. To the extent that a person can REMEMBER sins they need to pray about each sin individually in conjunction with the prayer above “Father, in the name of Yahooshua I recall that I … name the sin with as much detail as necessary … I confess this as sin and repent and ask for forgiveness. I thank you that you do forgive me and that the record of this sin is washed clean with the Blood of the Covenant.” Depending on the sin it may be necessary to contact people who have been wronged and repent to them directly. It may also be necessary to make restitution – return things that were stolen or make right in other ways where this is possible.

Where this is NOT the case pray for Mercy and Grace “Chen” – “Father, in the name of Yahooshua I ask for Chen {Mercy and Grace} for sins that I cannot remember.” Pray this in the context of the above prayers for forgiveness.
Conclusion
It is really important that the above prayers are prayed with or for any person who is close to the end of their lives, whether they are currently fit and well but more particularly if they are frail, ill, injured or otherwise close to dying. This can have a HUGE impact on where they spend Eternity and whether they end up in Hell for a season.

The Almighty Creator Desires a DEEP Personal Relationship with YOU
If you die as an Unbeliever your spirit will live for a very long time as a disembodied Ancestor Spirit or Demon -- the Creator has said regarding Unbelievers "why would I want someone to spend Eternity with me when they do NOT Believe I exist?”
If you die as a Believer without any form of relationship with the Creator you will end up in the Outer Darkness – a cold, black, terrible place with weeping and wailing and gnashing of teeth (your teeth) – the trash heap of Heaven – Father has said concerning such Believers “why would I want someone to be close to me in Heaven, which inherently means I will give them great prestige and authority, if they do NOT have a deep personal relationship with me and have NOT proven to me that they can be trusted in this life?”
In stark contrast -- IF you make a real effort to seek relationship with the Almighty the rewards in the Life to Come are HUGE – a glorious resurrected body, great prestige, great authority and a permanent close relationship with the Creator AND with Yahooshua {who you may mistakenly know as Jesus}
To put this all in context the Almighty has said "I created Human beings, this planet and this universe for men and women to be my Friends, my companions, to explore and learn and develop together, my greatest grief is that almost NO person understands this let alone seeks such a relationship with me!“
